Why not!? All the shorts I've closed were in profit even though the trades didn't work out. It's right now clear to me that this is a pretty strong bullish run but there are still some more bear possibilities ahead. I will only think about going long when it breaks the channel upper line.

I still have the bullish scenario that I posted earlier in mind but I won't start buying until I get a clear sign that is in fact a retracement.

yes i am sticking with word "cautious" when looking the eurchf - usdchf charts contradict each other..usdchf, slowly but sure, is gaining more upward momentum.be careful and make sure we monitor dollar-franc. i hate to see this but have to admit US Dollar in real favor for this month,especially for 2 weeks

For thursday and friday we saw consolidation pattern, though the bias is still bearish, not strong enough to break 1.3200, mainly because Euro-Dollar uphold it support around the same level and Dollar-Chf passed the parity (which is unexpected since Swiss fundamental is much better than US).

On the next upcoming week for Chf we should watch the key level around 3070-3100. if breaks, it will be likely to resuming the downfall with final weekly projection around 2600-2700. i am not really confidence about this but i short since 3670 and below.

On the upside it should break around 3370-3400 to continue further Chf depreciation.since this pair will be heavily weighted by the move of Eur/Usd and Usd/Chf we should watch those pairs carefully too i still hold my the longer term view that EurChf still on downtrend channel, this might be invalid if SNB intervening this pair, which is very dangerous, but also very profitable

Hi guys how are you doing today. I am just looking at my EUR/CHF chart and I consider selling it as it recently closed beneath a support line & thus far failed to break it again. According to my little trendline system it would be a good point to enter. what do you think ?

Hey Peter, =)

Here's my view on this pair. I'm on the sidelines although the trade idea its quite simple. I personally think we'll see this one retrace but the option of a re-test isn't excluded before a retrace would happen.

EUR/CHF got strength at all-time low just like GBP/CHF. Noticed this just today.
Pair nicely bounces from the point where all-time low and downtrend channel lower border matches. + RSI oversold.
Possible target at point where resistance and downtrend channel upper border matches 1.3300.

now that we have new alltime low, it might oscillate between 1.25 - 1.30 for a long time.... SNB is very silent, I believe they might show themselves only when we reach 1.25
this pig cannot be slaughtered for ever... or can it?

Guys! Be careful... This pair has been trading down for a very long time.
It's way better to only look for shorts rather than trying to catch its bottoms.
There's more opportunities on other pairs, this one is just too risky to buy.
Say that you buy at support then what would your stop-loss be? You have no reference at all whatsoever to go further with this trade. EUR/USD is poised for a bigger bearish move next week. This might get choppy here though I'm still holding my short from 1.36476 and have the stop loss @ 1.2936 and I won't buy. If for any chance it retraces then I will only look for more short opportunities.
Last but not least, I firmly believe we can break this support.

You are very right, specially in longer term.
Still, I have a small long position as this hystorical low are very tempting, I'll set my stop losses and quit the position based more on fundamental like increasing Spread between PIGS bonds and GErman bunds or any share market big drop. I don't have high target expectation and probably best is in the 1.29 region

told you guys... 60 pips down that historical low... only shorts here.. even if this one pulls back you should not be taking risks
i mean just look at the chart and see the bullish chances vs bears..

i didn't, euro news was bad anywayz, read a bit more about swissy.
this rally could continue in 2011 for a long time
only thing that could hurt swissy is unemployment
