A further leg down by the looks of it....

The recovery off the 5508 lo found supply at the 61.8% fib of the then 5577-5508 move see-ing a new daily lo this time so far @ 5483 in the previous daily t/f swing hi zone that extends down to the 127% fib extension of the last weekly swing up 5296-6297, where fresh demand has seen the rate pullback.

Still only 56% of the average 20day pip range so far today whereas € @ 100% of it't same average pip range in a 181 pip fall so far, over twice that of cable.

Under this previous daily swing hi zone extending down to 5474, the 61.8% of the daily swing 4945-6297 is at 5470 area and below there Daily S2 @ 5457. Weekly S1 is in the 5411 area ahead of 5400/5399 being 76.4% 5123-6297 daily swing and also 138% of same last weekly swing up 5296-6297.

Bullish divergence based 1min play and great master bullish engulfing trigger candle again led the way at the current lo supported by a 5min reversal set-up.

It seems pretty good so far. T1 @ 5640 and T2 @ 5790-5810?? Technically it seems possible, but fundamental momentum makes a long shor veeery risky.

Hi Yasi - if you looked at bbakker's post of the dollar basket chart and saw that he drew a picture of a dragon over the top - I think he was just joking!

I do not think there is a candlestick formation called "dragon" ... but check this out , might be some help

The trend is still bearish , Yasi , ... look at this 4 hour chart...I just did a scalp long , but I was prepared to close very quickly if it went against me...better to go with the trend my friend

From what I've heard from an insider, the major banks are still shorting the dollar and long on sterling, and as a hedge short on eur; so i'd be careful to be bearish on the pound as the fundamentals confirm the PA observed...

if you feel like shorting, go with the euro, otherwise come up with a fundamental reason as most cannot see it; just my opinion

Price pulled back 110 pips from the current and likely daily lo (5483) in that daily t/f potential rbs zone=previous daily swing hi x 2 zone discussed earlier...the pullback breeched the descending 4hr upper equiddiatnt channel/trend line to the upside and the current pullback/daily hi found some supply on a double test of the descending 1hr trend line and 1hr previous swing hi zone..

Just updating charts so have less to do at next trading session start ie tomorrow's london morning session.

Major Banks move this market my friend , if they were shorting the dollar and buying Sterling we would see Cable going up instead of down

No offence but "from what I've heard from an insider" doesn't really cut it for me , lol

And if you want a fundamental reason to short cable how about the fact that the UK is exposed to the tune of many 10s of billions in EUROpe
