Same here well I am almost there, I have had a huge wake up call over the past couple months and it is finally reflecting. Thanks to sticking to my plan!

I am thinking these two candles and thier associated volume may be a sign of a possible short scalp or more.?.? Not sure at all I am a newbie. But I will watvh and learn.

It will be here quicker then you think, today was the last day of normal volumes, you will see liquidity thin out over the next few weeks. I tend to stop trading in the second week of December, till the middle of Jan.

The "year" of trading is actually quite short if you take the thin liquidity times out of it.

And would be so kind as to tell us what you did wrong in the past and what you changed to get were you are now? Who knows maybe I can learn something

A: Well I took a step back and figured out why I am trading what it is and it could not include just because I see a technical level. Although the charts speak for themselves there is no confirmation with out fundamentals.

B: Small risk big reward

C: Stick to my trading plan no matter what

D: Patience, not staring at charts waiting for a setup for hours and hours. Getting on with my life while setups wait (My trade goal is swing to long term trading so this is where the patience gives in)

E: If I sit and stare at charts for hours and hours then I will scalp (Scalping has been my teacher to lose my greed and be ok with taking 10 to 30 pips a trade sometimes even 1 to 5 pips - I refuse to give back to the market anymore) until I get to my longer term setup.

F: Cutting losers letting winners run

G: Know when to reverse a trade and not chasing the market

H: Got rid of Indicators (this happened a while ago) and staring at charts understanding levels, when a market is ranging higher or ranging lower and lower.

Most of all understanding what kind of trader that I am.

Also look at my signature I speak success into my trading (positive message to myself)

After a week like this is it typical to see some sort of quick significant movement right at the last minute of the day? If so, is there a tendancy to up or down considering this weeks PA?
I ask because I have a little short from the 61.8 fib at 1.3869 and am considering leaving it open over the weekend.

I would actually say, the most important was getting rid of useless indicators. Trading like spiderman isn't the way.

closed it with small profit, better safe than sorry. I admit I will feel as though I missed some pips if it opens next week even lower. I think I used better judgment and did the right thing though. ..trying to use better pschychology here. well see.

today was being bought on the down moves and looked like a shake out of weak longs.

I owuld not be holding a sell on the weekend. If Ireland take the bail out deal then euro may move up 300 pip plus.

Yes this is one of the most important things that happened as well, I took them off a couple months ago big big change in my trading and I am sticking with naked chart

Also, there are some indicators that are useful.

It's just that having loads of them on a chart is way too messy.
