Yup just noticed that USD/CHF has broken through the 1.000 barrier so down Cable goes again!!!!!!!!!! her skirt sure is a long one must be a ball-gown

Always the way, you come out for a gain and it drops another 100 pips - lol !! Just back at desk to see what I missed after finishing session for day/week a few hours ago. Price continued down hard off the weekly pivot/4hr descending trend line after a re-test of that Hi visible on the samller t/f's...patterns of bearish osc div 1min - 1hr at theat hi- 1hr shown below...price landed at the 1.618% of the 6011-6093 (today's current hi) 1hr swing but has since pulled back from there and sold off again to a new Lo.

The pairing has given back over 50% of the 5837-6093 move up after the earlier fall to that 5837 lo in the week.

I was so focused on GU, I just checked the euro chart and saw this dead easy setup,

didn't trade it.

there's always something to miss.

but anything that goes in the gain column is good.

next one!

edit: anyway, no longs yet. need to see what happens at 1594-1593 and europe close. but with the Fed bond purchases, dollar looks strong.

enough posting, lots to do on the lower TFs atm.

I don't. I am less inclined to trade the bubbles. That's the time to
get out of the trade unless you like to counter or see reasons for
strong continuation on higher tfs. Bubbles have their own way of
forming when the PA runs out. Where they form is often due to
respected levels such as whole numbers, obvious trend lines, cam
and fibo levels and the ubiquitous and hardly innocuous 200 ma.
Once they form I then may search in other tfs to see if another
compression pattern has the possibility of forming to trigger yet
another push (up or down). My past posts are cluttered with
compression patterns and theory to give you an idea of their set ups.

Thanks for your posts and charts; I find your perspective interesting. Having been through the process of considering MA cross methods, (Bagovino and Sidus come to mind from their inception at least 2 computers ago), then taking on board the traditional warnings, (they don't work, they lag), and having looked at the guppy and discarded it, I'm intrigued at your scaled down version. At a guess you may have the 5EMA/SMA, 20, 35, 60, 90 and 120 EMAs there, but what are the others? For a visual learner this could be useful, either as a stand alone, or as an adjunct to an existing methodology.

Doc. i could be wrong but i think hes asking wher he gets the indi from.

Exactly. That would be me (very visual).

EMAs work better than any other MA selection and relative to the
tf, they have very limited lag once compressed. I use a spread of
EMAs much wider than what Guppy and Hull used (they limited their
analysis to daily in the stock markets). The actual EMAs selected
are not as important as an even spread and wide array.


I like: 6, 18, 36, 54, 72, 90, 108, 126, 144 (200 dotted only as a
respect target area of resistance and support) (use applied close)

Note: Obviously all ma's lag according to the period selected.
I happen to find that the pattern displayed by multiple EMAs once
tightly compressed becomes a valuable timing signal to watch for
the inevitable volatile PA movement for optimal trade opportunities.

If you wanted to, you would simply select the "manage attachments" feature when replying, the top box says "browse" which lets you select the file on your computer to upload. Once selected, click on the"upload" button and it is then attached to your post.

This is how I do it, if someone has an easier way, feel free to let me know.

In order to download, the only hitch is that MT4 needs to be closed before importing new indi's (or templates or EA's). If you choose to download "dailyopen.mq4", you would first open the file it was saved to, then go to

computer-> C drive-> Programs -> MT4 -> Experts -> indicators.

At this point you will have two windows open, the folder the file was downloaded to, and the target file where you wish to put it, than all you need to do is drag the downloaded file over into the "indicators" file", and the next time you open MT4, it should be there in under "custom indicators".

Hi Doc

There may be some confusion here, as Kas doesn't use MT4. I reckon that what may look like an indi, and a stunningly predictive one at that, is just the ellipses you've drawn with the MT4 tool. Correct me if I'm wrong.
