just opened a OANDA practice account to watch the fun...but those spreads(10) are impossible to trade!

i'll stick to the London and NY sessions for now.

Oanda still sells them euros for 1.37151.

Not all price feeds are equal, and I am pretty sure that Oanda being one of the few retailers with an early feed will not show the price entirely thruthfully. But then again, who knows nowadays with these brokers?

Sweeping stops @ 50 points on each side and lean back.

You got it, I just wanted to do this as a play by play to effectively take away any argument from the "gap" traders out there and show them that there is no gap, just Welly running stops.

For those wanting to trade the Sunday evening setup that retailers offer you, you must take into account what Welly did during their open, so far they have swung it 70 pips without you guys even knowing about it.

Dude, don't pick on one post out of context, we have had the discussion with appropriate proof and links and it has long been resolved. It was all down to finesse within the English language and a history of about 1,000 years.

Have you ever been on the other side, meaning working for market makers, brokers? I am very curious of their algorithms for hedging, collecting stops and so on. In my experience, with FXCM once you get close (within 0.5pips) to a stop loss it will be hit, even if no other provider (accessible to me does). But I recently attended a seminar about time series analysis in the frequency domain and with wavelets...and it occurred to me that those techniques could well be used against brokers to see if there is any periodical 'misbehaviour'.

I never have and never will work for MM's.

Sites like FF could really do a proper public service by altering their market data screen slightly to identify what broker and where had a anomaly in their price feed compared to Interbank and among each other, both on real and demo feeds.

It won't be too difficult to see the difference (I have a 3 retail feeds), but when do you call it an anomaly is a tough one...depends on their hedging policies, and risk control.

i have a nice rally base and a begining of a drop but a lot of buying pressure still available 1.34 is still not too far away before we move up on weekly
