I thought the ERU would hit 145 too ,but look at some alrming trends here, Gold is going up and the EURO is going down in relation to the dollar, EURO is entering new territory now,

noo wait its going down 20 pips...1,3300 next..lol

Hopefully we see 1,3840 today....or 1,4500 for the ultra optimists

You are contradicting yourself, if Gold goes up along side indices it only reinforces risk appetite and therefore dollar selling.

Don't let a single M5 candle one way or the other change a long term vieww of a trend, it takes a bit more then that.

Don't worry we'll have a few calling for parity and a few others calling for 1.6 pretty soon here.

yes but usually when gold goes up against the dollar, the Euro goes up against up the dollar, now the Euro is pulling back as gold rises,the trend has changed

You may want to have another look at your charts. So far Gold has come of the bottom so have the indices, fibre and cable. Don't get me wrong this is by no means a retrace or trend change, but there is very clear correlation as it always has been.

You want numbers instead? fibre to 3855 if gold to 1416.

There have been signs of life in the battered U.S. dollar this week, even against the Japanese yen, and belief is growing that a recovery to the Y84.10 area is achievable.

I don't think that risk will be the issue in the next few weeks. Just profit taking after breaking 100% recover from the financial crisis losses and a +150 points non stop rally that includes all the QE2 and beyond since September. Just my 2 cents.

We have a breakout/pullback pattern for now. Continuation will be confirmed on downside TL breakout.

imo eurusd and sp 500 have some correlation. that might bring some action into the market ..
just my opinion.
