True, What's even more odd is the GBP news release at 8pm EST US "time" WTF?!
Yeah cable got battered a bit (really only 70 pips - about a decent stop for the pair.)

I haven't been messing around with dragon lately. Also replaced U/J with Aussie as my 4th Major.
So it's G/U - E/U - U/C - A/U for the mains, of course Gold and Silver
and some of the crosses, Like E/G.

Metals are on a Rampage and Gold took 1400 USD per ozt. today. New records (edit: in P.O.G "price of gold" that is) across the majors.

Come on Cable!!!

I haven't been messing around with dragon lately....
No trades on the swissy, and have worked with AU for a while, it's a fair to nice pair..The correlations on EU/GU, EJ, GJ typically keep me in the good if not capturing a few extras on an early runner.

My current broker doesn't trade the precious metals, and FWIW...I wasn't all that great on my last go rounds with them bitches anyways....Got a few folk I trade with in some gold stocks, so I know they are holding their own on price, but that's as far as I venture...

Captured a few extras on the retrace to 200EMA on 1m for cable....

I love the little peaks n valleys...this is my game!

I never traded swissy either until it was sooo overbought, I started on demo trading the daily, just simple S/R / MAs, price action, once the trend started kicking a$$ down I went live with it.

Love the pair, yet it requires patience. For instance, if Cable moves 175 for the day, swissy may be at 85 when cable starts to flounder, yet, later in the day, the other +60 pips always comes around. Not a great pair to scalp, no...

If you like these swings in cable, like you mentioned below, you may LOVE trading Gold intraday.

She is a different beast though and deserves some other rules of engagement. Also segregating Gold trades from currencies is not a bad idea.

I´m trading live with Hotforex.com and I´m happy with them. Spread is right now 0,8-1,5pip on Currenex account.

There is a Manufacturing Production m/m news. If it comes positive, you will be on the green side if you entered before that but be careful. It can even be negative and after this news, usually there is a movement of about 50 pips or so.
Long 6105 SL6065 tp1 6130 tp2 6170 tp3 undecided yet depends on news within 30 min.

reasons:
15M 2 nice hammers
unable to close below S1
200EMA on H1 should provide some support
created llow, hhigh

Uk Ind & Manuf Prod data due at 0930am london..Good #'s (ie above previous and forecast, particularly with no or upward revision to last month's) could see some knee-jerk £ strength...opposite for waek #'s. Trade Bal data at same time may make the reaction (if any) not as clear cut, depending on them.)

The current 1hr screenshot is below...looking at the near-term confluence areas involving fibs:6049-30 holds 3 x unbreeched fibs of the major swings up to 65297 from 4225, particularly from 5649..below here 5994 area is a fib (38.2% 5503-6297) and weekly S1, 5911-5898 is a 3 fib cluster and 5807-5794 is a 4 fib cluster with weekly S2.

Not shown on 1hr screenshot below is that at current intraday lo is the 23.6% fib of the 5296-6297 move.

Thread seems to have died somewhat again ?
