I can actually trade pennies with my broker....so a 2000 account is in pennies and 0.1 is a penny.....so that is a lot of equity.

Dislikedso my understanding is we need NOT reduce PP for same MMTU. this may not help us in reducing DD in most cases. so why sacrifice PP ?Ignored
Dislikedi still think adding same pair again and again consequitively is the root cause for bigger DD scenario, if we cap that to 3 or 4 then we may solve this issue to some extent without effecting the profitabality. dont add same pair 4th time if all last 3 adds are from same pair and combined PL of the last 3 is in negative.
just my opinion. i will spend some time to add this to the code and see how it works. its not a big change in codeIgnored
Dislikedwell the basket ea is not effective given that you need to enter 14 pair which mean your account need to be big or leverage to be high.i have test out basket ea in a 500000 demo account and the result it not very good .Ignored

DislikedI partially agree with you on this point, but MC doesn't. EDIT: I think we should not continue to add trades to a winner that has already reversed.Ignored
DislikedWell, I have a different opinion. You will notice that since reducing PP on my demos, they close with fewer trades. Sometimes the EA will come into profit a few dollars and then reverse and go back into a DD situation and that causes more trades to close. Also, unless there is a very strong move, it can take a good deal of time for the trades to get from .25% to .5% profit, during which time more trades are added. So, what I am seeing is that the EAs close much quicker and with significantly fewer trades with PP .25 and therefore less DD.

DislikedHere is another example of why I think we should not continue to add trades of a pair unless all previous trades are winners. This is AddSix_03b. For the last 4 hours it has added a GBPUSD buy trade and they are all losers. That pair is still a winner, although CHFJPY has taken over as the biggest winner. How many of those GBPUSD trades would not have been opened if there were a requirement that all previous trades had to be winners? No way to tell for sure, but I would think at least one.
And at the top of the Trade window you can see...Ignored

DislikedI was seeing a lot of those repetitive pair losers in the AddSix 01 EA, so I extracted the appropriate code from Phantom14_Add_02 and inserted it into AddSix_01 and called it 01x.Ignored
