Last I checked we Americans can still use high leverage levels with non-USA brokers who are willing to take us as clients.

I think he means that his broker, ActivTrades, will not accept us anymore.

you give a profit ea 02 with 0.25 and the other ea 03 with various magic numbers on chart 2
if the price has reached the first profit the first-ea makes the award goes on and reached the next target EQ and then closes there-

Best advice to him is to demo test for several months so he's comfortable and let him make the decision which EA, if any, to use.

It's a STANDARD 200:1 account with a small balance ($3,000).

MaxMarginToUse 0.67, ProfitPct 0.5, lowest margin so far is 352%.

This one is still alive. It's a STANDARD 100:1 demo.

MaxMarginToUse 0.67, ProfitPct 1.0. Lowest margin has been 162%, pretty low. However the equity gain is pretty good.

This is same as Phantom_AddSix_02 except it will start the basket only after reaching a minimum drawdown level. Several times we see the regular EA reaching a drawdown level of 1% or 2% before reaching profit percentage. with this EA we dont enter strautaway.

Lets say the EA is started, at every hour it finds the biggest phantom winner from 14 and if its one of our 6 then it adds this to a buffer. It doesnt send to broker yet. Like this it keeps adding to buffer every hour based on same condition. The EA keeps calculating the PL of the buffer. If the buffer loss is 1.5% (configurable as MinDrawdownToEnter)
, then it will release these buffered orders to broker at current market price. Because of this we are ahead of 1.5% when compared to those that are trading regular Phantom_AddSix_02.

since we are ahead by 1.5%, we will reach the profit quicker than regular guys. we can aim higher profit compared to regular EA. we can increase the PP by 20% ie from 1% to 1.2% or from 0.5% to 0.6%

if the buffer profit reaches PP without reaching MinDrawdownToEnter, then it will close the buffer and starts again. ofcourse we are missing a winning trade compared to regular EA.

Advantage with this : Lower DD. higher PP on each cycle

Disadvantage : we may miss some profitable cycles if it happens too quickly

Settings : MinDrawdownToEnter. this is the only new parameter added. if this is too low, then you dont get much benefit in terms of DD. If its too high, you miss some profitable trades. I would suggest 1%-1.5% to start with. dont forget to increase your PP. if this is 0, then its exactly same as reguar Phantom_AddSix_02. since we have the buffer, this may look slow in terms of trades. it may take a while to see the first trade in your account

Ok my results for the past week:

100:1 Mini IBFX Account, starting balance $2000.
Current Balance: $2174

Settings were as follows:

MaxMargin:1
ProfitPct: 0.8

Maximum drawdown of about 300%, a little too low for me so I set the MaxMargin to 0.8 for the following week.

Anyone here running a live account? MC it would be awesome if you could develop code to automatically adjust the settings with the account type like you said, but I think we need a lot more consistent data to do that. Think I'm going to hire a VPS and start accumulating some stats.

Thanks for the recent explanations and the word document outlining the different versions. I am running Phantom_Addsix_2a on a small live account and I think the mmtu setting is really the only setting that might be a bit of trial and error.

I am happy with 0.5% profit. If it can do that just twice everyday then a $1000 account will be over $12000 in a year. Small bits consistently make big bits over time.

I liken this method to the tortoise (is that spelling correct) and hare race. Slow and steady always wins.

My account is 100:1, equity $1200 and I will use MMTU of 0.2 (maybe even lower), PP of 0.5.

Account History Tab

Information about all trade operations performed is stored in the "Account History" tab. The entire history is displayed as a table with the following fields (from left to right):

 

1. Order — operation ticket number. It is the unique number of a trade operation;
2. Time — time of position opening. It is given in YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM (year.month.day hour:minute) format. This is the time when the position was opened;
3. Type — trade operation type. Only three types of trade operations can be found here: "Balance" — entering of funds in the account, "Buy" — a long position, and "Sell" — a short position;
4. Lots — amount of lots participated in the operation;
5. Symbol — this field shows the name of the security participated in the operation;
6. Price — price of position opening. This is the price at which the position was opened;
7. S/L — level of the Stop Loss order placed. If a trade position was closed by this order, its corresponding cell will be colored in red, and "[s/l]" will appear in the field of comments. If no order was placed, zero value will appear in this field. On the other hand, if the an order was placed, but did not trigger, its value will still be shown in this field. At that, the cell will not be colored, and no "[s/l]" will be output in the field of comments. More details about working with orders are given in the corresponding section;
8. T/P — level of the Take Profit order placed. If a trade position was closed by this order, its corresponding cell will be colored in green, and "[t/p]" will appear in the field of comments. If no order was placed, zero value will appear in this field. On the other hand, if the an order was placed, but did not trigger, its value will still be shown in this field. At that, the cell will not be colored, and no "[t/p]" will be output in the field of comments. More details about working with orders are given in the corresponding section;
9. Time — time of position closing. It is given in YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM (year.month.day hour:minute) format. This is the time when the position was closed;
10. Price — price of position closing. This is the price at which the position was closed;
11. Commission — commissions charged by the brokerage company when trade operations are performed will be stored in this field;
12. Swap — the swaps charged are stored in this field;
13. Profit — the financial result of transaction will be written in this field. Positive number means that the transaction was profitable, and the negative one does vice versa. The profit is shown only in the deposit currency here, unlike it is in the field of the same name in the "Trade" tab.
14. Comments — comments on trade operations are stored in this column. A comment can be input only at opening of a position or placing an order. The comment cannot be changed when an order or a position are being modified. Besides, a comment to the trade operation can be input by the brokerage company.

Context Menu

Commands allowing to manage the history range and data performance, as well as commands of history data export are grouped in the context menu:

 

1. All History — show the entire account history. At this command execution, the whole financial history of the account will appear in the screen without any limitations by time;
2. Last 3 Months — show only the last 3-months history;
3. Last Month — show only the last month history;
4. Custom Period — show history for the selected period. At this command execution, the window that manages the history range will appear where one can select one of the pre-defined ranges (the "Period" field) or specify them manually in the fields of "From" and "to";
5. Save as Report — save the account history as a HTML file. At that, a window allowing to select a path for saving of the file will appear;
6. Save as Detailed Report — save the account history as a HTML file. A detailed report differs from a normal one for an additional set of parameters. After this command has been executed, a window allowing to select a path for saving the file will appear;
7. Commissions — show/hide the "Commissions" column;
8. Comments — show/hide the "Comments" column. Comments to trade operations are stored in this column. A comment can only be input at opening of a position or at placing of an order. Besides, the brokerage company can write a comment to the trade operation, as well;
9. Auto Arrange — automatic arrangement of column sizes at changing of the window size;
10. Grid — show/hide grid for separating of columns.

Open Account history tab. (somewhere under in the screen of mt4)
Select the period you want the history/statement for (see Vienna's post above)

Right click somewhere on the closed transactions in history tab and select "save as detailled statement" (or something like that. I've a dutch version)
The statement will be openend in your internetbrowser.

Hi guys, just finished the thread, what a journey! Have been trading phantom add 6-02 with impressive results on demo at 100:1 (standard account), $500 starting equity and default settings (+7% in two days). I have demoed Basket14_02 for much longer with good but less impressive results.

Question is, default setting for lot size is 0.1, and when the trade is triggered the lot size enters at 0.01 which is fine for the account size (I'm thinking here initially that the EA is recognising the account size and making adjustments).

But when I open a new account with $3000 and I change the default setting to an appropriate size of 0.05 the trade is still triggered at 0.01 lot size!

I am obviously missing something here, because I have seen varying lot sizes in statements from MC, frazerd and the rest of you dedicators to forward thinking.

How do I achieve this?
