The consolidation is blatantly obvious and induced by the sell programs seeking higher prices. I couldn't tell you about AUD/USD gap as I do not trade that pair. The difference here is I don't think there is a gap, I know it.

Interesting "good" #s before the FED announcement. However, the key news at the moment is the massive sell off of bonds in Ireland and Greece at the exactly same levels they started going down in May.

Still the key FED news and the NFP to come before anything else but definitively there are some serious players starting to shift their midterm views on the EZ zone.

For those interested check FT web pages for CDS and Bonds and this just published news in Wall Street Journal (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/iri...ist=beforebell)

There is some reaction - PA broke 5m trendline and got below my 8h trendline (green) I posted before. And now there's a pullback - so we have to wait for a decision, whether to go south or resume previous trend.

Elliott : points still to the upside same way as yesterday ... 1.4079 is still our point to watch out for at first ...

1.40594 has been highest after first test of daily PP zone ...

1.4044 represents 92% level of previous days range upside ...

1.40584 has been our previous days high ...


1.4044 - 1.4059 should be crossed soon ... otherwise one more pullback in the cards again ...

timing is an important theme as well ... in other words ... if not crossed soon ... then we have had our fun ... now it is lunch time in good old Europe at first ... and we did cover some larger parts ... before heading to the lunch ...

so what (?) ... nobody did die from taking a little profit to the safer side from time to time ...

be active ... always play with your 'break even' at specific levels of reaction ... pre-calculated reactive points ...

but don't touch it in the zones of running between the fences - let it run then - you should see the typical electro fences between those areas before you touch it ... zing !

After this rise of today ... a move to the downside is expected again ... if not above 1.4100 limits a retracement towards targets below 1.3991 is then possible ... also 1.3961 - 1.3931/ 24 in the cards in case of an extention then ...

Its getting tough now, bulls had no intention to respect 1.4036 (1/2 swing from 1.4053 - 1.4019) as they were trying to build an setup just under 200EMA / 1min tf, so i shorted those few pips on pullback

It's not that risky while volumes are so low. But i think its good to wait for ISM unless tight range PING PONG is close your heart.

I have updated my blog


We made a new high at 4059. It was 1 pip higher than the high before. For the triangle count (it is the count where we are in blue "e" of red "D") this opens the door for further movement up (maybe to the blue ac-trendline), or that upmove concluded red "D".

In case of the "thrust" scenario we might be in a flat correction.

Sell some more. But it would take a $1.43 print for me to hit the red button again. My last sale was $1.4104 about 16 trading days ago. Other than that I've been playing golf.
