This is my contribution to your new robot:
I trade live European session with Trader 101 method
I TRY to explain my approach to Trader 101 method (my English is not good)
Basket: JPY set* -> Buy pairs: AUDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPY Sell pairs: USDJPY CHFJPY NZDJPY
Buy signal:
Price above this Week open (see in Basket Candles indicator)
4H ago basket total pips > 0 (indicator attached). 4h ago example: Time: 11:17, 4H ago: 7:17-11:17
Basket ADX (M15 candle close) > 25 and DI+ > DI- (indicator attached. Setup: 6, 15, 14, 0, JPY pairs*)
SL: last M1 low + spread (see in Basket Candles indicator)
TP: option 1 -> R/R=1 range market or R/R=2 trend market. Option 2: Trailling SL . (I use Steve hoodwood Multipropose Trade Management EA. Thanks again)
Sell signal:
Price below this Week open (see in Basket Candles indicator)

Clarification. When buy signal occurs, I buy the six pairs and when sell signal occurs I sell the six pairs.

I have added an adaptive tp to the bot. There is an explanation in the Inputs section of post 1.

Just so people know, I have not forgotten about the start-afresh-after-a-basket-close thingy; I just haven't got around to it yet.

It turns out I could not find T101 because his screen name is trader101. If you follow the link in Antonio's post, you will see that my recollection of how T101 set up his master basket is significantly wrong. At some stage, I will grit my teeth against the Star Wars rubbish that filters through the thread and re-read it. Maybe there is an ea to come out of it.

Antonio, thanks for posting your variation. The fact that you trade it live attracts me; no doubt it attracts others. Sometime in the next couple of weeks, I will look at it properly with a view to automating it.

I'm working on a new recovery system for “Basket With Balls” .
I use MPTM for that but the bug from the earlier version is included in the latest version.
When a basket is closed by MPTM and a new basket opens the MPTM close the new one directly. (Not always but many times)
I have to go back to MPTM from September. That one is working. But then we don't have the new great function in MPTM.

There was a glitch in the tp function in the update I posted a few minutes ago. This is fixed now. Possibly.

I will look at this sometime but not right now. mptm plays no part in any of my recent systems, so I am not concerned about it.

I look forward to your thoughts about Recovery for BWB.

I wanted to try one idea I had so therefore I used MPTM. I let the Basket EA open trade directly after close. No sleep. Then when a currency pair is 10 pips in DD I had MPTM to open a hedge 300% witch is same as 0.03. Then I hedge the hedge if it turns around again with 150%. I had 96.92 euro + when I got up this morning. But that is not included the loss when the MPTM closed directly.

I see. Try turning off mptm's basket closure stuff and use BWB's tp instead.

In the original method (Trader 101), you buy or sell the whole basket. If BUYS pairs are in the top, you buy the whole basket. If sell pairs are in the top, you sell the whole basket. Remenber in the original method you have a basket with 7 buy pairs and 7 sell pairs.

As I remember, the point about T101's master basket was that the winners were showing strength and should be bought, whilst the losers were showing weakness and should be sold. Therefore, the longer the master basket was in operation, the more it showed the true state of the market.

I am not wedded to this and will add the option to start afresh after a basket closure, so people can play with your idea.

How has it performed for you boys so far? How was it tonight, through the FOMC stuff?

It looks to me as though BWB has been closing baskets as soon as it opened them tonight.

I have added a couple of attempted fixes to post 1 - not sure they will work. We shall see.

Hi Steve,

I like the idea. And I think it's also good if a Maximum Profit Target can also be set as another condition to close the basket. So that the basket will close when this target is reached regardless of the number of open trades. I woke up this morning to see a 4% increase in my equity and I just closed everything and disable the EA and enable again later after 2 hours.
