sold for first a test @909 subltl. If the ltl fails, price will likely retest 5800 level.
Else, it's back up. Hope I don't get kicked in the balls before the 909 test.

Not so.

This is an instance where a news release and price acted in tangent, but that's not always the case. Many times it's priced in prior to release and the markets utilize the news to catch uninformed traders off guard. If you want to work in absolutes, ignore all news except for an awareness that releases will create volatility. Outside of that, there is no way to establish a metric based on how and when news hits the mainstream. Even with a Reuters feed, it isn't always a guarantee that price will respond how you think it will.

Fundi trading is a very difficult and specialized market approach that I have a great respect for. The post you responded to was just a lucky guess by an uninformed trader.

My advice is when you want to click on the buy button, click sell instead, and vice versa! You'll be minted in no time... lol

On a serious note, I cannot help you get out of this one WITHOUT a loss!

Don't really care if it goes up to 1.65 or 1.53. Just unhappy with those who are so sure about it and posting stupid pictures and videos.

5792 to be exact... lol.. IF she breaks 909 and the tl.

My 250 pip gain in EU has shrunk to 83 pips... lol. It is a freebie and if it goes any higher, I will just sell at a better price

I see Pip Stunner never took you up on your challenge... lol

Otherwise, you still taking plenty of dough from the markets, as always!

LOL, I needed that laugh!!!

We'll have to see where we close today. We're coming off the 1.598 top fairly quickly with some USD stability/strength returning, although we're into the NY/Chicago lunch-hour, so a retrace of the moves is fairly common.

Interesting though that S&P is coming undone, even with the POMO behind it - speaks to it being built in, or insufficient QE2 $$$'s. Regardless, we'll have to see where things head after 2pm EST. A close below 1.594 still remains bearish for cable, but tomorrow & that cable close will be telling. Since it's not a POMO day, and with it being a Friday, I'm going to expect a down day, perhaps aided by the 8:30 GDP news. Me thinks everything is building up to next week, pre-or-on-Nov-3 fed news, and we should see our directions set.

It's not that Sterling or the euro for that matter have any quality to them ... it's simply their repricing due to the weak USD.
