The System III (Oh no!)

Well... this is how I see it...

My current long trade.

it was near my SL already...


I think it is because... well it is because I did enter this trade a little early. What I mean? - I mean - when I did enter the bar was already up-bar, but did not close yet, so after my entery it did change to down-close bar. So - my entery was not whole rigth. In fact - I had to entery only after this green pin-bar to form, and my entery-order had to be above this pin-bar.


I hope - Feb will comment this my post... because I am still struggling with finding right entery criteria.

Entries should be at the close of the bar- let the market show it's hands.

i did enter at the bar which i mark at the chart with a vertical line, when it was yet up bar (but not closed). Then, after my entery - it was changing to down bar.

... but I think I should enter above that pin bar (I do not consider bar formations - just now I call it this way to understand what we are talking about)... above little white line at chart.

I would have to wait for the turning bar (UP-bar in this case) to close, and then to place entery-order above that up bar (green pin bar in this case).


It something like in the System I the "V"-shape formation.... Yes?

Of course - I do not cry... lol. I understand what is this business all about... - about probabilities. What I want still to do - is mastering the art of trading. It seems to me that this is endless process.

took another trade. short.

entery is based on breakout of the level down, and then on the continuation to the breaking side.... so - like a system II sort of trade.

i took dat eurusd short, but went off around 20pips. now it going the other way around. lucky me.

well, i just had 2 small win today totally 40 pips only. small lots, yet a win is a win, i was quite cautious today due to several news.

no matter the size, really. I see consistency there my friend!!

Thanks to you (to all your "systems") I definately changed my way of reading the market and considering that "losing is part of trading".
As you said, taking a loss is like breathing to life. Just deal with it and move on...Lick your wunds, shake it off, and move on...
Simple words...but effective and powerful ones...

that trade looked good for 45 or so pips wonder what made the buyers jump in

short again... looks like this is strong level.... Besides just simle looking at up-and-down bars I try always to feel the market-rythm... when the forces which were pushing price up are changing to forces which are pushing price down.... At least I think - this is something valuable for watching.

Closed almost 1:1 RR because of the speach ECB President Trichet.

I have a question to Dear Feb.

What I want to ask is...

If I right understand this (and do of course too) that when we are looking at price which is near the level already, we based our entery not only at bars/candles close, not only at their form etc. (I mean something just visually),
but... But we base our entery on our feelings to some degree too. Like for instance - we are looking how price is moving..,

if we have price which is coming to the up level, we see now, in real time, that the whole rhytm of moving is more.... m-m-m like "up-moving-rhytm" (sorry - I do not know how to explain it properly). Then - near the level - we see (again now, in real time), that the price is like a stalling a little (within 1-3 bars/candles), then we start to see (again in real time, now) that the price starts to show us something like a "down-rhytm-move". Now - we look at this in real time again, wait for the close of that "down-move-bar", and place our sell order below this bar. And SL above the level.

... what I was trying to explain - is about more than just looking at bars... I think is about something like looking at bars and FEELING the rhytm....

Then - we have the next down level as our target. Now (again in real time) we see our trade is going down in something like a "down-move rhytm".
But suddenly we see that this rhytm is obviously changing to something like a "up-moving rhytm". And, based on what we are seeing now - this is more than just pullback. To our target there is some distance, we did not approach it still. But, based on "what we feel looking at prce" - we might consider make an exit, even if our profit is about 1:1 RR now.


What I want to ask - is it good by implementing our trading-tactic to watch not only peaks, valleys, levels etc., but to take in consideration the ... (again - i do not now how "to call" this) to take in consideration something like "price-moving rhytm"??? And to implement this to our trading...

Hello... not only.

I mean - I know what MOMENTUM is... What I am talking about - is I think a little more than just momentum. something like a "feeling of price".
