Thanks to those of you waiting to defer to me about whether to start a new thread to discuss a possible Renko application rather than do so here. That is kind of you all.
I welcome all discussion of possible TB application here. TB is basically finished; there are tweaks I plan to add that can easily be added, that is all.
On a bigger scale, one of the contributors here has offered help in attempting to make TB self-optimise the BarCount. This is a long way distant; I need to have the time to get my head around the basics before even contemplating taking this further.
So, in the meantime everyone please feel free to explore any use of TB and report your findings here.
One thing to bear in mind is this. TB is an H1 trader. If users put it on a lower tf, it multiplies the lower tf by a factor that means the BarCount still equates to the H1. On higher tf's the results will be nonsense and traders will soon become discouraged and give up on them.
This will render current Renko results unreliable to useless. I have added a line of code that is intended to ensure that TB ignores the chart tf if it has been placed on a Renko chart - page 1.
My understanding is that Renko charts are offline 2 minute charts, so I have added multiplier = 1; before the code that does the lower tf accommodation thingy (in init()). This should make the BarCount input be relevant on an unavailable 2 minute chart.
Not sure if this is the correct approach, so coders fell free to correct me if I am wrong.

I believe that you trade 23 pairs. Macman said earlier today that the number of pairs would have a great affect on success by the inherent level of hedging that is going on as well with this strategy.
On demo, I am trading every pair except the silly ones. What is happening here is: trades always open; upl constantly in dd but rarely by more than about 5%; profits and account balance constantly rising.
So yes, if you possibly can trade tiny lots on as many pairs as your account can stand.

I have had the spec for another robot for weeks; it is just waiting for me to get my head around it once the heat has gone out of this thread.

I'm a big fan of Renko and was trading it for a long time.
But given the results I have with TB on my H1 charts since it was coded there is absolutely NO NEED to change anything.
I trade TB live on all pairs except the obvious stupid ones with only P trades and hedge starting at 400 pips (not happened yet)
I will never touch anything else again... you shouldn't do so as well.
Just be happy as it is for now... the win ratio is scary enough like it is now.
Sit back, relax, go golfing and enjoy watching your account grow...

Listen up guys. Back in the days when I was still asking, "What is Bid?" or, "What is Ask?", DXTrade was one of the gurus at a site whose trading system I was following (remember WSS, Uli? Feels like a lifetime ago).
A bit further down the line, and DXTrade was telling me where to find my Fib tool when I was asking if I had to do the calculations by hand.
Knows what he is talking about does DXTrade, is what I am saying here.
What makes his post especially forceful for me is this: as I understand it, DXTrade always took a large amounts of profit from a very small pip movement. Frankly, if he has adopted this strategy and is happy to leave some of his live trading to TB, then we should all sit up and take notice.

You mentioned you were going to hedge at -400. Can you give us any tips on hedging. What lot size would you use in comparison to your open trades? What's your strategy for exit with a hedge? thank you

But honestly... trading retail since about 10 years I had to struggle a lot to make my initial losses back.
And my trading since Bob's thread - beginning of August - is not far from amazing given that we are still talking about MT4 and EA's.
So just repair some bugs if there are... but leave the rest as is and enjoy life. It won't get any better. Some interventions manually maybe in case the market goes wild... that's it.
But you are the sleepless coding beast leading me to Bob's thread... thanks again.
