Linear regression and Fibonacci. These are global and sound math concepts. Applied in many fields of study too to predict deviations from a mean value.

Mathematics mate. Not trend-lines and such technical analysis garbage. I have learned the hard way back in 2004 that only 2 factors operate in financial markets - Economic news/projections and Mathematics. Once one is absent, the other takes precedence.

I usually look at charts posted here with amazement. All those lines x-crossing with no Math behind them. No wonder Brokers keep popping by the day - the harvest is great.

my mother in law cut some branches from a tree in the driveway today, when suddenly our two dogs tried to chase a cat and bumped into her legs... pretty dangerous situation with a running chain-saw, but nothing happened to her.

Sup Malc? I don't think that is quite true. In fact if he is in a sell and you are in a long, he may have just sold to you. It is the broker who has the benefit of collecting stop loss money.

There are no short cuts mate .. Mathematics and its applications - a must study, in depth, just like the old days in school. That is how I picked 1.3940 for a turn in EU, not lousy guess work( trend lines)

Please share your methods then! I have never fancied trend lines.

If price is going up, I buy, if price is going down, I sell... don't need to make it complicated...

Even if your math method works, you are wrong when you say that Technical analysis, and Trend lines are garbage.

Could you explain your method? My math ends in infinite series, multiple integrals and such basic calculus courses...
