I'm not so conviced about the upside. I wont rule it out but would like to see a hourly close above 3995. Otherwise a test of 3908 would not surprise me either. In fact I just went short at 3943, tp 3913, sl 3985

Scalping in my eyes is 5-10 pips profit working of m1/m5. If the range, like uCad, is ~800 pips, you can get some very nice swing trades in a ranging market. It really depends what timeframe you work from.

i have two tasks to fulfill, before i consider scalping again. 1) get confident with the "system" i have set up and 2) develop the patience to stick to it.
these last weeks' pa didn't really help with those 2, because pa didn't deliver the opportunity to put both to a test.
i trade via oanda and still have the scalping setup on my chart, which was the first one i ever put onto it. i'll be back, but to me the other 2 are more important at the moment.

when i get that elliott-thingy into my head, things might become much easier. it delivers so many opportunities on a silver plate, it hurts.

Yes I have entered a long. Going with a flow. Just take a look at those charts. Its all written in there. When I notice crossovers of SMAs on higher TFs that would mean exaustion of the trend. EU is perfectly bouncing off 30 SMA not reaching dynamic support zone of 50 SMA.

If you go over that high, you will play the scenario of the triangle.

But it might unlikely, that it will run that high
