Looking as though it may fill the gap before it goes up past 1.4. Just does not seem to be in a hurry to go up very far.

i'm considering to move my entry point up by a few pips to 4055 from 4044, because of slippage...

because it has just respected the mid of this last move. target is at 4055.
i seriously want to abandon the scalping, for health's and my account's sake.

I always look for big moves..at leat 40 pips without that no entries

Mr Hatch, I feel your pain. If you are going to scalp you must know your market and do it at the times when the scalping is good. You can scalp inside and out of your swing & position trades. Know your physical/emotional/mental limits for scalping and use it in moderation or it will burn you out and waste your account.

But a trader should be able to scalp, just like a good pitcher needs to be able to throw something besides a fastball. Unless he's a knuckleballer, and, then, well, damn - but those dudes are pretty rare. I know you're german & probably don't know diddly about baseball but you get my drift.

Scalping is a necessity in a ranging market....

i trade of off the hourly chat and make my entries using 15 it shows up whenever there is a bull flag

Hmm I know how that feels; scalping (for me) = sleepless days and nights staring at the screen and I have to admit becoming somewhat unhealthy in the process. Just spent most of last week in bed, with short visits to the computer. Ended up in hospital on Saturday but told to take 'rest'. I'd love to keep a trade on for more than just a scalp. Only ever time it does go in my direction it seems to want to cut off before I can move the sl to, say, 10 above be. So scalping it is for now.

Good luck all. I just wish this thing would hurry up and take the up elevator. I only came downstairs (fortunately) to close out a long I had left on AUD/USD over the weekend with a view to go back to bed and sleep for a change. Some change, that was before 02:00 and here I am still waiting at 08:10.

Think one day the will carry me off from my computer.
