This is a long term account, not a daily account.

The daily account is treated as intraday, with some overnight swaps/rolls.

The long term runs on an overall view.

You need a lot of confidence in your view to run the long term account, it certainly doesn't appeal to everyone.

SOOOO much easier... I'm sitting up 300 pips on my fibre longs from earlier this week and only 100ish on my Cable ones I opened at nearly the exact same time.

Well I suspect one of the reasons why this thread is quieter, is that on occasions one or two jump on those who like to interact and others believe that the thread should only be for 'business not pleasure'......

Personally I think it should be for both as without pleasure their is no point in being in business.

cos BI know That Dollar will be Stronger, from NOW. in a few years will be 1 :1 with poundsterling, nah baru deh 20 tahun kemudian 1:1 sm rupiah..,jd mending yimpen dollar duluan.. hehehehe...,

wow! after packing pips in thousands i am now applying PIPGRESSION. opening 3 postions per pair with Fibonacci TP's. Maybe too much risk what do u all think? 400+ pips and counting

Now this would normally be me.... as I live in southern California ... however, today its pissing it down just like ol blighty and the local population has no idea how to drive in the rain.... oh well, a change is nice...

So this is my first post on here (v green noob) ... I have spent the last few days since finding this site reading all the posts (well trying to) .. as by the time I get up in the morning i have 20 pages to read (8 hrs behind) and am currently wondering if (when i give up the day job) i will have to wake up at an ungodly hour in order to trade cable...but i guess it just depends on how much action i want to see... as i say .. currently just reading material and learning.. as got rather burnt in FX last year... i was stupid.. but i learnt from it.. (i hope)

It's quiet because there is very little going on with Cable... tonight should cure that with the MPC statement.

If they keep rate at 0.5 will it have effect either way? Have read on a few sites that they may even shock teh market by dropping the rate... I would assume that would be very bearish at least short term for this pair? An increase (though very unlikely) would be quite bullish.

5 High Impact news annoucements over 2 1/2 hrs... could be quite the day for big moves up and down on this pair.
