regard the 4H candle close I am expecting the cable will go 5770 area where I make a full long position with SL 5745, targeting 1,59, 1,6

You've mentioned that scalping £/$ today has some possibilities with the proviso of a tight stop.

In your experience if scalping this pair what would you call a tight stop ?

10 Pips/15 Pips or less

Each and every trade warrants a different stop, there is no set SL for trading. I tend to keep my stops (which I rarely use, they are just mental stops) below the point at which I would entertain a trade in the opposite direction.

Scurt....why did you Buy_stop@1,5840 with a sl5786 but then close just 20 pips down?

I'm new so trying to understand the logic of setting a stop loss at a level your not willing to risk?

That kind of implies that the idea of a tight stop doesnt really exist if a stop loss is based on the idea that if it were to get hit it would have invalidated the reason for the original trade (which is what I think you are saying).

Possibly for a short TF scalping type trade you might identify that point and have no leeway whereas for an intermediate TF (looking for maybe 40-80 pip target) you might allow a bit more leeway at the stop point to allow for market noise ?

Thanks for your kind advice. I have made a duty of explaining myself since morning without bad word. When it comes time to trade rotten words, this thread would not bear it.
I'd rather if anyone lose patience with another's post, he should say it civilly or be gone. Here's a place to share ideas and be corrected, not a Cottonera Front for Chrissake.
I wonder how patient some can be with people they live with all day if they can't tolerate those they don't see.
