But, at a glance, it does look like cable is heading higher. The D1 has a morning star formation.

Depends on your trigger t/f...ie if you are using a sub 1hr trigger to enter trades, like a 5min or 15min then look at where the most obvious near-term imblanaces of supply/demand (fractal swing hi) or demand/supply (fractal swing lo) are on the 1hr t/f and where those co-exist with same on 4hr...add relevant trend lines and fibs and there you have the most widely used potential future support/resistance factors in the current market....Obviously if your trigger is the 1hr you should do sdame on 4hr/daily....

There is no such thing as future support or resistance...all we know is where the past near-term imbalances were and where the fibs and trend lines are, so we can see where the confluence of potential support/resistance factors reside......although the latter 2 can be somewhat subjectively interpretted. Confluence of potential supp/res factors is king and price action's behaviour around it tells us what the most probable outcome is-break or bounce

agreed, just got a reversal on my m5 and waiting for m15 to confirm...

Everything is feasible.... as to whether it is realistic...well how long have you got ?? ...ie it is all relative to your stop size if long from there....

Boe/Mpc rate/Qe info/statement at 11am gmt.....just over 10mins.....

Still working out the snipping tool so can't post a chart just yet, but the babypips site has loads of examples.

The divergence illustrates either underlying strength or weakness and can signal either a trend reversal or...

GU H1 chart:

H1 close below the 61.8 and look for the 78.6 and/or the 100% to be tested. Above the previous h1 candle hi and look to test the 38.2 and/or the 23.6.
The DX may be headed for 82.25-35.

If that is a 5m chart, be careful jumping to conclusions on divergence. Also, from around 5.30 am on your chart the dx seems to be printing slightly higher lows, and the macd is following surely? Or am I missing a point somewhere?
