A bit more fundies, all car sales reports are down, Ford and GM down 7, GM domestic down 25, Toyota down 31. So how is this first week going to play out? We need a good NFP to sustain the equities rally and for Navin to laugh all the way to the bank on his position trades. We are in Sept so the sell of normal in August has finished, today was a good start with good data worldwide and even the energy ETF's sustaining the rally in spite of increased inventories. 10 year T down 2 points, 30 yr down 1 point.

Friday's NFP will be the decision maker whether this is September exuberance or a sustainable rally.

In the abscence of someone senior replying(probably because they have answered this question many times over)i shall attempt an explanation. : The Big Boys go away on holiday.which leaves us all floundering in a very slow mud stream..in other words ,or rather in Cloggies, everything is the same just a lot slooooower

I come and go...I get tired of scrolling thru the bickering and the "I SHORTED FOR 100 PIPS" with no explanation. So once I get irritated, I go to my little corner and trade alone. lol

i will give u some advise..trading is about seeing information and no having no bias..u simply go with what the chart says..u need to learn the price behaviour..moving averages work like everything in trading..have u seen how too/so many people can have trendline in different place and swear it works..ASK YOURSELF WHY IT WORKS:- and then find the answer (great way to learn)


The process isnt random..to the person who can read the chart for what it simply speaks..

indicator tell u everything u already know..except for diverence imho



screen time my friend and understanding support and resistance is all u need..if u learn to trade with indicators u become dependant on them..nothing beats a naked chart u simply act on what u see and stick to yur sh*t like fly on sh*t..LOL

pip... dx weakness I posted the other day on the daily played right our into my hands... 82 may be broken here

GU I am buying off 1.5440 , taking profit 1.5470 , even though we had an upthrust on the 30 min this morning there has been limited selling pressure on GU , for me buy dips is nice safe way to go till that changes

looking for further moves up in London to 1.5575 area

Days range completed at 1.5450 and over extedned at 1,5490. Hence the sideways movement for now , same with eu . Sure some of the more expereinced traders ( magik) are counter trend trading ... but me being a noob I will trade with the pros.... and they aint selling just yet

Will be looking for any further signs strength thru asia 1.2900 eu , 1,5575 gu targets , then take it from there.

I am not 100% convinced of the up move in the markets today( us stock market) , will be looking to see if 1085 holds on es. I did take a nice 14 point long this morning , but have not taken up any calls for stocks yet , however all puts were closed when i saw several low volume down days on thursday (ip , cat etc etc)
