For data they are. For a 'broker', they are not. Have been using their data for months without any issues via sierra platform.

FXCM is not my primary broker, but I do have a small live account with them (actually, FXCM-UK) because I wanted to have an account with both a U.S. and non-U.S.-based broker. Have not had any issues. When I was searching for a broker early on, I could not find a single one that did not have all the usual complaints (crooks, bucket shop, stop hunting, bad feeds, can't get money out, yada yada yada... ), so I would take what you read on the internet with a grain of salt. When deciding on a broker, it's probably best to actually talk to current clients and get info you can trust to some degree. I may be mistaken, but I believe FXCM is the largest retail broker in the biz. With that kind of a footprint on the market, they're bound to have some displeased former clients (especially given the variety of people coming out of the woodwork to make it rich in forex, many of whom probably have no idea what they're doing and no desire to take the time to find out. Blown account? Must be the broker's fault! There must be some place on the web that I can warn the world about these crooks! Oh look, there is!). At any rate, you don't need to use them as your broker to get their free mobile price alerts, which was the point of my earlier post. But, based on personal experience, they're not the devils they have been made out to be on the internet. That's not to say they don't have their problems, but I think all brokers do to some extent. I guess the goal would be to find one that works for you. According to his profile, Graeme uses FXCM. Perhaps he would be willing to give his view of them as a broker since he obviously has been dealing with them for a while.

Hello can anyone help.
I never posted charts before I can save a chart to "my documents".
how can i post it in forex factory.
I copy it but when i click on window when creating post i dont get option to paste?

Hi Paul,

When you want to post a chart with a chart as attachment, just do this:

First, save your chart on your desktop or documents. Now to post your message click on ''Post reply'', then, you will be redirected to the ''reply to thread'' box. Here you can first type your message. Then, to be able to add an attachment just scroll a little bit down (on the same page) and you will see ''Thread options'', now, you should be able to see ''
Attach files'' and just under it, click on ''Manage attachment''

Normally, a new window should open. The first thing you'll see is ''Upload file from computer'' and finally you'll see á box indicating ''Browse''.
Click on it and select the file you have saved on your computer and click on ''Upload''. Now that you have uploaded the chart, just close the window and submit your post like usual.

See the example in attachment.

Is anyone in the thread using ninja trader platform.
While i been testing brokers I found this platform, there customer support response time is exceptionally quick and helpful.
I seem to be able to trade far better and quicker with there ladder style dom order entry interface.
And i only have to get used to there platform once. If i want change brokers they got over 100 brokers that the platform works with.
Will be going live next week for first time with mbtrading (seem to be best for micro lots).
Any experience or advice on the broker or platform would be really appreciated before i go live.

Hello Paul,

Random thought (and what I would do in the same situation): would it not be wise to wait for the end of the trade exercise with Graeme (min 2 weeks) and see if his opinion is that you are ready to trade live ? That's only as one more assurance that you are ready, after all it's your money on the line, and I assume you care about what happens to them.

Paul,
I've been using MB Trading for a while now. I've been very happy with them. Their demo feed can be spotty at times, but their live feed is very reliable. Spreads are great and commissions are fair. They're probably as good a broker as any as long as you don't mind the no-hedging limitation for US brokers.

UJ is a good option for me as it is a pinbar flying buddah on both monthly and weekly. It has 3 options as far as I can see.
1, Big retrace huge pip potential
2, Continuation breaking through and closing below 85, huge pip potential.
3, Whipsaws around 85, big loss potential but good damage limitation exercise.

Thankyou I wont attempt this live at the moment until i get some feed back.
I have been successful in demo in the last 2 months with my shorter term method.But a lot of people say its different in live, i just wanted to see what will be different and see if i can replicate my demo experience.Been in demo around 4 months now.
Maybe best to focus on this in demo like you suggest and hold back on live trading.

i am watching this as well, the monthly is looking like a FB as well if it doesn't retrace all the way back in a day or 2.

I looked at u/j too there is f b and then last week bullish hammer so for 3 weeks to these rules strong chance of up move.

I just opted to choose E/J for this weekend's assignment instead of U/J. U/J is prime to go up as well but I can never get this pair right. Fundamentally E/J is easier to 'anticipate' for me compared to U/J. Keep a close eye on Bernanke and BOJ if you are in JPY this week.

Good morning fellow traders!

I was scrolling through some charts this morning and I have come to notice a nice flying buddha on the AUDUSD pair on daily's timeframe and below.

Great opportunity to look for shorts here, hopefully my hindsight tells me right.

Volumes are low now since it's the start of the day for the pair, so I won't be taking any trades now as I think it'll be risky and I'll be leaving for school soon. But i'll be back in the afternoon to catch up on any growing momentum if the opportunity arises!

I'm thankful for Graeme's enlightening teachings and it definitely have changed the way I perceive trading as a whole.

I will be following this thread with you guys and hope to contribute to this amazing thread as well!

USDJPY monthly is in a range between 101.50 and 83.50 since 2008.11.01

Daily could be interested between 93.70 and 85.90 since 2009.09.01

Market Price just now: 85.34

Enter Long seems for a good option and a shade more after a retrace at M15, M30m, H1. So price has to fall under 85.34 again, e.g DPV 85.00, mS1 84.78

This could be a fair price, but have to wait for confirmation of that flying buddha.

If GBPJPY and EURJPY would going up then it could be a great hurry with an enter long JPYUSD "on the basis of exigent circumstances".

...and take some fellow men with you which are climbing down the stairs...

First trade volatile breakout on UJ going with hindsight.
