wish I would have seen this post alittle sooner, but if your still on, what is your opinion of a breakout happening off of a compression on a friday afternoon, end of month? Not much volume at the moment, so I'm kinda nervous about jumping on board if it breaks right now.

happens a lot of days , today has been a small range day usually you get a few pokes both ways unless one side wins the battle and the others give up lol, usally you get your move clear across the range after frankie opens , hence the need to pay attentsion to the fake out and breakout as cloggie was mentioning

Me and a couple buddies played an entire hole from drive nugget with only a putter...you'd be surprised how well the Happy Gillmore run n drive can work with the sweetspot on your putter.

I had an eagle last month, but never the double or albatross as we call them in old blighty. That is pretty awesome!

We occasionally play a hole in reverse to spruce up a dull round. Drive with your putter, wedge next, into the green with one or two (or five) mid-to-long-irons, and then putt with your driver. Highest score buys the first round.

Never a double eagle here.... but I've had two eagles (ON PAR 3s)!!!!!
when I was playing the least and the worst golf. Go figure...
And a number of eagles on the 4s and 5s in 40+ yrs of golf.

Now I pleased just to keep it in the 80's.

I was low 80s sometimes breaking it a couple of years back, but now I have been struggling to get 80s and even had a triple score this year! Short game has gone to sheeet. Tee to green and putting are fine. I don't practice enough and my touch goes. Still, I love being out there especially when you hit it sweet as a nut!

OK, at the risk of having fire rained down upon me .. which is why I'm posting when no one is actually here...
there is something I'm not getting in this whole Cloggie vs Scipionz thing.

Apparently Scipionz saw a pattern developing and based on that he made a call .. Cloggie ripped into him because the call was made 'for the wrong reason'.

But ... if there is a monthly event that occurs more or less like clockwork, then isn't it logical that that event will produce a technical pattern while it is setting up?
Now if you are aware of the factors that produce the event, you don't have to wach the tecchies, just pay attention to those factors and you can get your pips easily and max pips.
But ... to do that you have to become very knowledgeable about the myriad of factors that produce this event .. or at least aware that they are taking place.
And most people are not, that knowledge can take years to perfect, as Cloggie says there are so many 'news' announcements that do not appear on FF & you have to know where to find them .. and what they mean when counterbalanced against other events that may be occurring at the time.

It's complicated.

But .. if I am blissfully ignorant of all this .. and according to my rather simple charts I just see a technical pattern emerging, and based on that I take a trade .. and maybe get some pips (far less than I would if I had known why this pattern was occurring) but still banking some pips..
then...
why is that so wrong? Why should I be called a fake, a turd, a scoundrel for posting what I was seeing?

Not trying to defend Scip particularly, but yesterday he gave an excellent explanation of a couple of gartley patterns (which fascinate me even though I don't think I will ever master them .. nor particularly want to).

Then . I didn't see the actual post .. but he apparantly gave a call maybe based on that pattern or another ... which was 'right for the wrong reasons'.

Sorry .. I don't see why that makes him a pariah in the room .. unfit for human companionship from this point on ...an object to be forever shunned...

Am I wrong?
