hi guys,

just want to post a chart... i have been experimenting this moving averages without price on the chart... comments anyone? appreciate any


i'm currently up... i'm working on higher tf but for now still in 5m

Heres a key for those of you who cannot refrain from the back and forth bickering, just click on their names and where it says add person to your ignore list, click it and for every post they make it simple comes up with nothing.

The problem is numbers. See when a thread attracts numbers then naturally there will be the followers and there will be the skeptics who are just pessimistic by design and feel the need to spoil the party with fancy posts that are truly enlightening.

Just ignore them and they will be on there way or if you feel the material is not in the best interest then opt for a clean up report to get rid of it.

What has been said in this thread is great. It may not all be new but really what is new in this game. It is very difficult to say something that has not been said before. Does that mean it shouldnt be said again?

And a small note to PS in relation to the "200-300" pips per week, thats all well and good but pips alone mean very little without the 'weight' that is behind them, therefore my 20 pips a week could very well eclipse your 200 pips a week based on risk measurements and capital in play. Are you better than me for achieving a higher number of pips!!!

Get back on track, I personally enjoy this thread because of its simple elegance.

I appreciate and understand your concerns about graeme.
And maybe in the future you may be correct and your assumptions proven.
But you haven't posted any specific points in graemes posts that you consider not to be in line with a successful method.
one of My previous posts asked you two about these points and to please share them with us I'am quite new to forex and to me see potential here. Can you see serious flaws that I can't?.
If you are honestly trying to help us please post the negatives so we who are not experienced can see what you can.
Up to now your comments have been based on future developements in graemes goals.
One great lesson i have learned and you will be familar with is not to try predict the future,just deal with whats happening now.
I applied this to trading and to my life, the outcome so far has been positive.
Again thankyou for your concerns .


Personally the last few posts turns an extremely bright light on for me.
Its like the film "sixth sense" you thinking something all way through but right at the end it totally makes sense when you get the final piece of information.
and graeme cannot have his knowledge back cause its in my head now.

All this time I been thinking if he is long term trader why worry so much about 5 minute entries, Now i totally understand whats been happening sharpening our entries as he asked very early on.
my only doubt has gone now.

Personally,on your chart my entries would have been:-
1) higher up below blue line break of low to the left.
2,3) lower down break of low (less risk)
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

I have provided links for two files this time. The first file is the complete set of pipeasy's posts up to Page 102. The second file only includes pages 77 to 102 as you may have already downloaded the previous pages.

Again, no comments so we don't destroy this thread. If there are issues then a simple PM may suffice although I won't get to it until Monday.

And how long have you been trading, Sir? What in your strategy is contradicting Graeme's? Please bring some facts, not meer suspicions. Did Madoff start out this way?

Well, I`ve read this thread from the very beginning, because already the title reminded me of a `90s option strategy named "Tarantula", also opening legs and opening covering legs.

I`ve since read wonderful posts, informative posts, educative posts and learned a lot from the threadopener. More than 100 pages, more than 1500 posts.

But I have yet to recognise a strategy, steps, hints and announcements, but not a complete, validated and/or backtested strategy.

Maybe I missed something, maybe its just around the corner.

And I wonder, that with such long term strategies (entering and holding positions often and on both sides for long time) costs of brokerage, mm and financing is not a topic at all. After all, I don`t play on demos, but risk cash.

Also I `m suspicious ( no, not regarding Graeme) when the developing "Inside the inside" is shown on small TFs comparing those candles with the CLOSED candle of the higher TF.

Finally I have seen more than one educative or otherwise excellent thread disappear: Remember Ozfx? Bunnygirl??? Jetheat??

Maybe somebody can help me to switch the light on.

Hi Forex37...

Maybe if there was pre-defined entries,exits, take profit levels and stop loss we could make an EA for the strategy and backtest it...lol.

The secret of this strategy is "there is no strategy". I believe Graeme is prodding and poking us to think for ourselves and observe the market and to to open our minds to the possibility of greater rewards then most traders believe is possible.

I think if your looking for Graeme to lay out a strategy with pre-definded rules and expectations you're in the wrong thread.

Maybe a second read of the thread may help...if not I wish you well in finding that pre-defined holy grail strategy.

Hi Graeme,

I know you have mentioned this in the past but I was wondering if you could re-iterate how you feel about fundamentals. My impression is that you do not pay attention. I am asking because I find that fundamentals can cause disruptions in chart patterns and can be problematic for this or any other method. At least on smaller time frames.

tjfxtrader have you read the posts on diversifying? I believe this is what Graeme is referring to here ;-)

Graeme, bravo on your latest input, very nice to show us zooming into the different TF's for increased opportunities. I will also be partaking in the assignment over the weekend.

Why would you know that Graeme could manage your savings in the right way? Did he show real life accounts from beginning date today in the future? lol!

If anyone tells me they can give me secrets to be millionaire ( got this guy vince stanzione e-mailing me all time asking why i not give him money for his garanteed success strategy.)
So I says to him ,we form a contract he gives me his winning way and takes his fee out of my profits.
Am in this cause i want money not cause i want give it away.
It's been a while now since vince contacted me.
But I now look forward to receiving his strategy after all its win/win for him ehh.?
