I subscribe to the gap theory, there was a gap before NY trading, and in closing the gap it got momentum up. Plus a corrective move was due. Plus they knew lots would short on the fake move right after the news and get their clock cleaned.

Just started a short trade from 1.2734 looking for a profit of 80 pips.

Waiting for the Asian session and also going to sleep.

yea sp did wait to release it after ny close......if they would have released it during the session we would probably be at 2500 or lower now.....However, all this was coming for a long time. SP kept giving warnings about irelands debt rating, same thing with other countries.....either spain or france will be next, only a matter of time.....This has reignited the euro crisis, thats all it takes one country to get cut. Everyone is looking for a reason to sell risk right now, im sure this did the trick.

I'm a Money Manager and i have 10 different account Online at this momment in Alpari, and i don't have any problem with connection. Why could not be a problem with NET service ?!?

went short EUR at 2628. Hopefully there is a downside in the Asia session. What was up with the flight to Euro today with the downfall in the U.S markets? Is it just because of the horribly housing data from the states?

Hi all. EURUSD has formed a Head & Shoulders formation with a projection in the $1,217 zone. Neckline already broken and a retest on it might happen (wouldnt changed the trend tough).

Momentum is negative and so more downward movement is also expected in the next sessions.

S&P cut Ireland credit rate to AA- that triggered the fall.

It's all on your chart. As I have said over and over. That daily cross over bar was the key signal that sentiment had change. There were numerous signals before that when you look at the volumes of the sell bars on the 4 hour chart in the days before, opposed to the volumes of the bulls, but that one daily was the kicker. Add to that the S&P and the dow are currently finishing off the right shoulder, and oil has finished it's H&S. All all the charts!
All that is left in FF is just plain garbage. "Cloggie"

My man need to go way this afternoon (some familiar problems), when i'm back, we are around 1,2675, so i prefer stay out and wait, and now this move down. This is not my days .

It wasn't a "flight to euro". Read this thread, even though its cluttered, there is a lot of information which will help and possibly teach. Some of the information may go over head, post the link to the post and ask a question someone may reply.
