Short from 1.0615.
Anyone else in short?
I have a target point of 1.0530, but I am not sure it will break 1.0550, any thoughts ?

OK the short entry around o410 hit i believe o420 nowwe have passed my short term target of 0370


Looking to break support (potential) at o363 and adjust short term target to 0350

any one else short?

i was thinking of going long, this pair is trading between 1.0340 - 1.0630 for almost 35 days now.

Hiya Mate....took a few days off....how are you?

I was thinking of watching to see what happens with the euro...they seem to be correlating a little bit more the past few days. It is funny but I think the risk aversion currency of choice is the CHF right now....I think too many are long on usd/yen waiting for intervention.

I am starting to think long based on how it has been sticking to this area....but I may short to 1.033...if this level holds I would think long.

This pair used to be so much easier to gauge.

Swings is still downside oriented...but it seems it wants to break upside...
I'm sticking to my short for now...1,0450 has not been breached yet...once it'll be broken i'll be a semi-bull!
Same for eurchf, i'll stay short for now...but if it goes above 1,3480-1,3500 i might start to buy.

London will tell us what to do

I am wondering if it will hold? I get nervous shorting the lows especially with eur/chf dropping so much as well (I know they say they will not be intervening...but how can we really trust that statement?).

What are your thoughts?

THat was some ride before. Sometimes this pair sits and sits and.... But when it moves!

Not sure. Buying has only brought it back up into the 300s so far and it seems stalled.

The ride down may have primed us for further down-move by breaking into the 2s.

It may rise a bit first.

I don't think the Euro is low enough at the current levels to warrant any intervention from the SNB.

Even when they do it usually just creates massive spikes and the pair flatlines again. The real intervention would be both the ECB and SNB teamed up.

I haven't studied the interventions too much though, just my thoughts.
I maintain bearish bias, looking into the 100s if not parity.

It looks like it wants to retest 0250. but it is possible the pair may range for this entire market....

We'll see.

Otherwise if it can make it back above 0400 then we may see 0550 then assess a nice new short...

After a Quick fibo it looks like from the move today (swing high - lets just say 0450 to swing low 0250) the pair has been rejected slightly at the 38.2

this was over a 200 pip fall today. The high was above 0450.

The pair was hanging onto the 0400 psych level and support around 0380 levels.

I have been waiting for this move for a while now.

There was a fellow who posted a nice short, (will get your name) wonder if he still has the entry?

Looking at the daily now my longer term target is parity. There may be a possibility of an upward move after this down cycle plays out where a nice short "may" lie. However if the US can print some more crappy numbers we may be there before you now it...

Here is a potential view I noticed for a Head and Shoulder - massive at that - If it pans out we are in for a LOT more down.

Just an Idea - it is not perfect, yet nothing is.
Comments are welcome.

I will expect a fight from the USD. lets see how it works out.

Another idea to add could be that we have not created a second shoulder yet and the pair will rise appx 300 pips, then resume down breaking the neckline.

More people should start trading this pair.

I also use it as an indicator. Sometimes, things will pop in terms of the dollar on swissy before say cable, it can give you a leg up...

The S.S.I. is at 5.27 up from 2.29 last week.

84 % of Traders are Long which could signal that the pair might be heading South.

This pair is way too choppy for me right now. No clear trend forming quite yet. At least on higher time frames where I live.

perfect!

Poor US news pushes swissy back into downtrend channel.

THe pair just re-broke my neckline - let's see how this goes.
