.....that's how to do it! The more I look at a daily, I see absolutely no sign of trend change......there was profit taking last week in asian currencies, shorts will probably come back in this week.

Funny stuff.
1. GDP numbers come out, below conensus.
2. 10 min passes by without much happening.
3. Suddently the Yen starts strengthening in all pairs.

Of course its risk-aversion, but that it should even strengthen against the dollar a little harder to get.

BOJ intervention won't stop it from going to 80. you might see a short uptick for few days, but the long term trend is down.

I haven't been here for a few days, but it seems that nothing much has changed.....the downtrend is still strong and there is no sign of a reversal at this stage. Japan can't pull off intervention on it's own, and other central banks don't seem to keen, so I guess tha Japan's only hope to the continuing strength of the Yen is more verbal intervention, which won't work with such a strong downtrend.

I'm not building longs at the moment, I see the Yen in the low 80's as a very real possibility now.

It hasn't changed too much which is kind of nice. Playing both ends of it with Stops especially tight when going Short.

I still believe Japan will do something before yen goes to 80.
It will climb at least to 89 or 90 first, base on my chart, except if there is a very long downward spike...

It is a very high possiblility to have double bottom around 84,73..

I feel the same way. I can't offer any TA to support my views but sometimes ...how does one explain it? For better or worse my small long term trade that I am trying to forget about is based on basically the same sentiment.
