for me vsa is the best way to go in stock , bonds futures and fx. It works for me and that is what is most important , as your style works for you .
EW can be subjective, if you let it. Never used Advanced Get so I can't comment but I like to determine things myself rather a software handholding approach.

I prefer the original approach taught by Robert Miner and not Carolyn Boroden's way. Price, Time, Pattern and Momentum rather than just confluence and indicator signals.

Agree we each have to find what works best for ourselves.

There are a handful of traders on my vsa thread that are active posters , including myself. Some do not use esignal but interbank and they seem to do very well picking tops and bottoms. You can pop in when you have time abd please post any questions you have .

Master the market by tom williams is a must read.

In the vsa thread you will see some examples of vsa trades for fx.

Chart shows the week in '08 when he bought. Look how nicely (or suspiciously, take your pick) that week's range became recent support. Maybe he bought more or were Goldman insiders propping up the value of their options. Inquiring minds want to know.

Second shows the daily range from the actual announcement day 9/24/08 which nails the swing low even better:

There seems to be be some buying going on on the 60 min

I have shown in this chart the ultra high vol doji at 1.2800 and again the down move in US session on Friday was on ultra high volume right into the 1.2800 to 1.2750 are. Both of these hourly candles and the volume associated with them suggest we could be seeing some buying interest.

I am looking to take a long above the resistance lines 2800 ( whole number) with target 1 at 2900 , target 2 3000. During Thursday / friday last week there was lot of supply at 2900 , so if we get back to this zone and the long play works I am taking half profit there.

as the market is dynamic if i see supply entering the market ( as seen on friday on the 2nd chart , red arrow at the cross hairs.. this is tradeguider and a volume feed for fx) then i will close long.

Fundaments are shaping up for another tough week for the Euro so I'm expecting to see more Dollar strength. Any Euro strength should be well capped around 1.3000 where I have a short entry order also.

Hallo everyone, I'm new and live in Italy. Some 10 years back I traded in stock to get immediately run over from the tech bubble. That is when I bought Metastock and left it in the shelves for 10 years. Now, after trading for 6 months with EUR/USD currency I was wondering if some experts in this forum can help me understand if I can use the program
1) to create my own formulas and therefore my own system
2) where to get the data of the currency to download and finally
3) if metastock can be integrated with a broker which uses Metatrader. Hope my question were clear enough. I thank you all.

They are just support and resistance areas.
I just trade S&R, trend-lines and sometimes fib levels.
I rely on fundamentals but use TA just for entry and exits.

I wouldn't read anything into that with weekend volume being a tiny fraction of weekday.
