Plan your trade and then trade to your plan. How many times do you hear that on here? It is because it is so true. If you don't have a trading plan, you will keep changing your mind and that is fatal! I remember one of Cloggie's old posts which is the typical thought process of a trader with no plan!

I can hear newbies reading this who don't have a trading plan, saying it is all in my head, I know my plan, I know what I am doing. To answer...
Am now reaping the rewards of all the planning and daily reading of my 'affirmations'.....
Those who are new should do this daily, in the beginning of your Forex career maybe even hourly. Especially as others have said the 'human brain' has a way of playing tricks on yourself.

Had it covered mate, see post above yours, '...that previous 1hr swing lo zone = potential sbr is where price may find some supply...' I had it marked on 1hr t/f as potential sbr...exited accordinbly for +11pips only...Thanx.

no, i thought it would bounce 50 + pips... it still may...but i have to go do my day job :-)
Work is really slow as every August is. I would continue on my trading plan at work, but I left it at home.
So I am spending my day at the pool table and on here instead.

I also have a day job with no access to live MT4 feeds. Therefore no day trading for me, hence having to swing trade of the higher TFs.
Work is really slow as every August is. I would continue on my trading plan at work, but I left it at home.
So I am spending my day at the pool table and on here instead.
me too...i can only trade at home (im in eastern time zone) i just trade for fun now...trying to get better :-)
