I am a novice but think its because its the Upper Bolinger Band on the daily Charts ..

Is that right ..

OK, I give up .. it doesn't look like prior S/R on any tf above 15 min, I can't draw any fibs that intersect it .. not a trendline ..
So .. what is it??

pull up your W1.
use the rectangle function, highlight between 5380 & 5460 and pull it across your chart as far as the eyes can see. back till early the year 1990s if you have to.

basic supp/res level is a powerful tool most people overlook. Less is always more.

on the way to 1.55 - 1.57 tthen 1.60

need to make a new high on weekly to buy a retrace to go higher..

so i expect a high to be put in..means reistance should break or at least allow for short stops to be hit..

Hi all this is my first post anywhere. I am currently in the trade long from 1.51917 with a target of 1.58012. My stop loss is below swing low of 2010.07.11 00:00. As of sending this post I am up +225.7 pips. I am so tempted to move my stop up but have been burned often doing that. Trading takes nerves of steel and patience.
I have been adding .1 positions with 10-20 pip targets within the main trade based on the stochastic turning up from below 20. Only going with the prevailing trend. This is a new tactic I have been practicing with on a demo. So far I have been able to gain 23.2 pips with three such trades nibbling away my overall risk by that much while leaving my stop loss at a safer place.
As to why I think the pair is going up next week, Take a look at the 1hr chart and notice the long channeling up trend. I have uploaded an attachment but don't know if it will work. Never tried it before.
I got in at the low side of the channel and I am targeting a symetrical move of the same as the last leg up i.e. the swing low of 2010.07.11 00:00 to the swing high of 2010.07.15 00:002. If all goes well and the channeling holds I should hit my target around 2010.08.01 00:00. I will probably close half of my position if price touches the top of the channel before it hits my target and adjust my stop up below the bottom of the channel. That way I will greatly reduce any risk.
