2nd trade of day just closed =5.8pips only...playing the pullback, off the set-up below...actually waited for close of the 0940am 5min PB candle for entry...just scalps..

Mni talking of bids and stops mixed in 5200/05 break exposes pot bids @ 5180/70 ?

Intraday situation has turned neutral-bearish after the run up in asian session

well traders since we are back to where london left off yesterday , the weekly pivot and a whole gaggle of averages are in this area also, I have taken a few longs here . 1st tgt is todays high beyond that will see if and when it gets there stps below 1.5290, not overly promising looking atm but will see cheers all

the 0930am Uk time Uk Public debt and mortgage approvals came in worst than forecast hence the sell off which had begun earlier off the current 5308 intraday Hi...will price continue to react to these bad numbers?

Wait till tomorrow, until then range...good for scalping...no way I see it going down below 151..

Once again this Pair bears it's double edged sword.

Went Short @ 1.52681 at 1:48 AM (EST). That was stupid to begin with, why did not I wait a mere 15 minutes longer because I am well aware that at 2 AM Europe starts to get going and big moves are very likely to made.

Shot up to over 1.53, luckily I had a S/L in place that was rather tight but was I smart to it in so tight?

Broke below 1.52 a few short hours later.

I love this pair but I broke one of my rules for trading it---never use a tight S/L, make it largwer than usual.

Oh well.

I agree, does not help that the ECB is trying to put down rumours of Landesbank failing the stress test to be published Friday, keeping the option of further liquidity open and eurobonds inching up. We are seeing dollar strength across the board and euro weakness. As to Cable, any bit of bad news just exacerbates the pull to the down side.
