Buy only when :

- MA Cross signal pointing up
- Trix index confirming to buy
- price below 96 SMA and 200 SMA.
- risk at the minimum. (price closest to MA)
- always Set SL : below the lowest MA (dont take any order if if the risk is over 50 pips)

Line three should that not be above moving averages..?

1. first sell signal point was false because the risk of the trade is higher than 50 pips

2. next buy signal was confirmed at the next bar closed above SMA 200. this trade hit the target of 10-20 pips but will stop on sl if follow the next condition of closing target (stopped when price closed below EMA 21)

3. next sell signal was confirmed at the next bar closed below SMA 96. this trade also hit target of 10-20 pips, hit SL if follow second condition (below EMA 21), but hit the bigger target when we follow closing order condition 3 or 4

4. next buy signal will hit any option of closing order condition with profit

5. next sell signal false due to violating rule number 1

6. next buy signal false due to violating rule number 2

7. next sell signal confirmed at 1.5160 and profit or loss is depend on which closing order condition you preffered.

now you can check the entry and justify the signal whether its false or not, and manage your risk and profit for the next trade...

currently seeing the move on EJ will short if a bar closed below SMA 96 and all condition fulfilled

the entry i made on the picture is the first when all of the condition met.
at the real trading, risk at the minimum means if you see Price action will make a retracement you better wait for the retracement... look at 1.5148 the green short entry on attachment... since you already know that the sl was on 1.5171. you can find a better entry rather than 1.5148 (i.e 1.5157) if you are patience enough to wait the retracement, as long as the condition of selling still met.

Hi,

Did you back tested in ranging mode like what happened in cable 2 weeks ago? How you filter ranging? Do you have best TF?

did you mean this one? look at Trix index and 50 pips risk rule.... none of any condtition of them are met

look at the movement... now depend on your strategy... whether close it for 20pips, set sl @ BE or let the trade until trix crossed or MA crossover change direction
