Apologies for the earlier post... got my daily and weekly analysis mixed up... LOL. Anyway, here is my daily analysis.

Looking at the higher timeframes, we have reached an area of possible reversal. If we break above the high of 1.3093 (10th May). ~1.33 is the next target, otherwise we should go back to ~1.26. Either target could take a week or two to reach, although with low volumes due to the long Summer days, volatility might get us to those targets quicker than expected. Let's see how this pans out over the next few days.

Austerity measures are taking place in Europe although it is still early days as to whether they are effective in reducing the rate of debt increase and how it affects the respective economies within Europe such as higher unemployment. There are no signs of the US tackling their debt and looking at the DIX, the rise in EU is more through $ weakness rather than Euro strength.

The Germans would like to see continued Euro weakness as they will benefit the most in Europe with increased exports which should result in lower unemployment.

can we actually expect stress test results legitimate ? I mean if test proves that Europe can't survive another economic meltdown, will it be shown like that? I kinda get that feeling that report won't contain "actual" data from test

Yes, I believe that after the stress tests are announced, and earnings are all in that that may be the signal to short the EURO once again. Whether the results in the stress tests are good or bad. I feel that one of the components for such a successful run up in the EURO is the unknown result of the stress tests and Trichet's word to do all things necessary to contain the crisis. If revenue in the financials sector continues to disappoint(remember the market is worried about FinREG and the expiration of Bush Tax cuts) and the stress tests are not viewed as stringent enough, and we start listening once again to the bad news out of the EUROZONE, I think that it could be a beautiful year for EURO shorts. I still think parity by year end, although as you know I have been long the euro during its brief rally and will not go short till we see the signs.

whatever , if too negative can express softly as if not so negative , in a positive way so that general people like us can't differentiate between good & bad and if positive , ok , they are ready to any real disaster in coming days when price dive to extreme down and assure investors that capable of survival .

I will be looking to buy between 1.2767 to 1.2702. If that UTL breaks then 1.2580 for the big haul.

what the news bliss and many fail to see. is long term sure governments will tighten. they will cut back on services extend retirements etc. to do this the working will work longer. but the unemployed will have a decreased chance to work. adding to this is the governments in their cutting back will fire more workers in a cycle of high unemployment. thus causing less tax revenue and more government cutback. and this will carry over to the private sector. this cycle will not be cured in a day a month or even 5 years. it may take a day a month or 3 but the end result will be the same. you cant have some governments doing well and some unable to cope in the same model. unless you have welfare countries like you currently do. we should know soon how this will turn out. the stress test will be decided by the market. the market will give the test and it will fail or pass according to the market. not politicians.
