Starry-eyed? Mmmm...

The main reason traders do not receive these kinds of returns is that they do not have full confidence in their method. Secondly, the human element...fear etc. is what really does the damage. I have been a victim of that too. It is very difficult to gain those kinds of returns trading shorter time-frames because of the built-in human element and emotional thresholds. Some days are better than others of course. Don't know if you know, but the price movement on those TFs are designed to wrack your nerves. You've gotta go out in the deeper waters...the longer time-frames.

I am planning to start posting my trades more often (once I clear/reorganize my plate like I mentioned). I would also like to start giving free signals...not here though but on my blog. Maybe I will start next week if I can wing it. Will add the link by Friday or Saturday.

Then we will both see . Appreciate all your advice and help. I posted a trade much earlier on in this thread where I cleared 116 pips on AudUsd...and I was asleep.

what sort of consistency do you have achieving 900pips/wk?? or do you simply "believe" you can achieve this.

if you can do it, then Terrific.

the trouble most experienced traders find is not the psychology,
its finding 18 x +50 (=+900) of the set-ups you talk about,
these types of set-ups are gold, and i just dont see them happening 18 times each week.

but i have an open mind, and i truly do look forward to seeing how you do this, count me in.

Hello again PeterE,

Nice to see your post. Fork and WLs work very well. I am thinking of doing something along those lines...not in real-time off that bat, but as close to keeping things as current as I can.

Feel free to post here. More to come...having a trading buddy is good. The next best thing is to be able to have other charts to compare yours to as you are stalking your entry.

hi fx4,in this case it was a 3 drives to a bottem,but it didnt pan out,the spear head top,is also called a pin bar,selling climax etc

one of the things i like about this thread is the up beat and positive tone,i hope that will continue,i am looking forward to reading your blog

Ashes, if you sold, looks like you got some pips! Your fork also looks good...pivots connected well.

By the way, the further your pivots are from each other, the bigger your frame of the market...the closer they are, the more short-term the message. Both have their place.

in the last chart i posted there were 3 previous highs to chose from,i picked the one that fitted best,i presume that is correct ?

also as the fork is down sloping i am looking for shorts,and yes the pips keep coming,so we must be on the right path

So, you were looking for another drive to the top...I see the two major ones as drives to the top, so to me you were looking for the third.

Down-sloping fork...looking for shorts, yes...the pips are always on the right side of the market: ALWAYS!!!! Not the Bullish side or the Bearish side, just the Market side.

Seems to me that you are becoming more confident in what you are seeing. The doing will follow the confidence in seeing.

Okay Pikeliver, got you. All of these different terms...thanks for clarifying.

Glad you like the tone of this thread. The market is tough enough as it is: no need to get beat up twice. Hope to post the link for the blog by Friday or Saturday at the latest. Want to include some interesting articles from time to time. Any topics of interest about trading? Will see what I can dig up.

Sounds like a counter-trend trade on the EU...am I seeing correctly? If so be careful.
