Hello guys
my first contact with fx was in spring of 09. since then i learned everything i could, which i consider was quite a lot.
i consider myself a beginner but educated. im past all the noob things like system hopping, superduper EAs and the like. i have developed a method that could work quite well. the only obstacle now is practice.
this is what i am thinking of lately: quit my dayjob, get a part time job in my proximity (to lower travel costs), and use the gained time for working my ass on practice, practice and practice.
this is why i consider this in the first place: im still fairly young, have relative low living costs and live on my own - i dont have to support anybody. cutting down on luxury expenses and partying on the weekends could get me by quite ok.
why i think this is a good way: like every skill, trading needs vast amounts of experience. working a full day job that is mentally demanding makes it impossible for me to do anything trading related in the evening because i lack the concentration needed. weekends - well you all now the markets are closed then
the point of this thread:
i wanted to ask you: has anyone done something similiar? what where your experiences and how did it work out?
i know that one member here quit his job and uni to learn trading, taking advantage of the luxury to still live with his parents, who support him. i envy you, man are you lucky (you know who you are )
PS: please dont give me the standard "trade the dailies, its stressfree and doesnt require 8 hours a day of your attention", because it is something that is just not for me.
you may have the opinion that im doomed to fail, im ok with that.
