It's damn difficult PA for me.
Analised what I was doing wrong and found:

1. Not looking enough at larger timeframes, eg desciding for direction on daily TF, timing on smaller ones, do not trade against larger TF's
2. Too much looking what others (even very respectfull traders) think....
3. Countertrend trading on smaller TF's works very well for me but only in direction of larger TF's

It does sound very simple but I fell into these traps more then once, maybe I remember better by telling http://cdn.forexfactory.com/images/s.../yim/happy.gif

hey guys, first post here

i am a beginner, been only trading on demos for a month or so, and been following this forum and specially this thread for the past week.

anyway on-topic i have missed the ride down yesterday, but this morning analysis showed me a ride up so i went long at 1.4996 i am keeping it so far.. more inclined now that it broke the .57 resistance.. not sure where to stop yet tho!

and this morning said I was in favour of uptrend resume and proved it with my previous post....
Just took my profit.....1179 €

Today is not the day to short the cable, she is roaring back to life. However, a new high is yet to be seen but likely, so this might be a sideways consolidation forming instead of resumption of the up trend. Wait and see.

Number 2 was my archilies heel.....now I don't come here until after I have made my plan, and once I've made it, I don't care what anyone says!

Hey Kill! Doing swell. Got the job, but I am still thinking about it, although I am swayed to changing. I have been here over 7 years now and feel like I am stuck in a rut, but if I do change it will mean a slightly longer commute and no more day trading... swing only. Choices, choices...
