Hey Geoff, Piptician,

Need some help here. Ran backtest V14 in IBFX. I think it is working fine except that I don't see the SMA arrows nor the Thumbs. These are not visible in both triggered trades and non-triggered trades. Fractals are there though. The Trade Zone boundary vertical lines are there too.
Please see attached pics.
Any idea what is wrong?
The settings for display I verified is correct (did not change from the defaults). I am eager to know if any IBFX users see or don't see this as well?

Their VPS is fine for what i'm doing, havent had any problems other than it being a bit slow logging on and u can't see all ur history at once.
I also run on Go Markets with same strategy and it matches trades one for one so no issues.

Trailing Stop will never last long (especially on Cable),

any small swing and you will get

kicked our by TSL, unless it's like 50 pips, which is doesn't make

any sense.

Please explain, why would EA take any trades last night, while it shouldn't by design?

Are you trade it on different pair?

My Guess he loss some data on history, so that ma197 upper then price.. so this give signal to enter short trade.

loss data usually because download data from history for backtest.

the true position today not have trade on GU.

i found alternatif way to collect history data, but this only max 6 month (if i;m test only got 6 month period).
first delete all data on history folder (download, live, etc),
second delete from download tab , clear all (for safety can try on demo platform first, so will not give negative impact for live platform or try on another broker mt4 for demo, hopes i;m not wrong... )
n open new chart
on chart have info waiting update.. after show little chart, press home on keyboard (turn off auto scroll), do this for all TF.
also my newbie suggestion, do backtest with different platform , so not impact to live platform
example:
live on fxpro , backtest or analysis on fxopen or fxcast or ibfx, etc (so our live platform secure from erorr cause loss data when downloading or cause to many do backtest become erorr)

for another better way or get more then 6 month data i still don;t know, could someone give input to for this ?

can I test with mt4 demo testing also longer than 6 months?

My test was from 1/1/2005-24/6/2010

perfomrmance did not feel well.

3 days with no trades on IBFX. I also do not get any thumbs up or down or anything but the green and red triangles on my chart. What am I doing wrong?

Same happened to me. Try to zoom out the screen and the thumbs should appear. Regards.
