its just like line chart and fibo! if the price activities below the 50%( middle)of fibonacci then its actually exhibit price weakness, if it break the support then the seller in control. just imo

1 - blended of mma inside the last 5 candles, break the high to buy and break the low to sell.

2- to activate a trailing after 5 pips gain.

3- stop loss at the high or the low of the last 5 candles.

option:

(a) only to create pending order/s.
(b) to cancel all position/s and pending order/s(if any) when the profit target hit.

i noticed on your charts that you trade on european open mostly, yeah
also you always has profit target, seems like you comfy with the approach(mma). whats the most reliable set up in trading using this approach?
is it compression set up, price line breakout set up, bubble set up... etc.
do you trade all the set up or just use the most reliable one?

morning ben. so far compression set up is what i feel most comfy with. price line breakout and bubble are something i am leaning still. hopefully want to add them as well to my trading arsenal.

yes, as you say i always have a 1% goal set up in Oanda's order ticket window. sl is 3%. if you allocate 20% of balance @ 50:1 leverage, these are +12 pips and -36 pips. perhaps compression set up is most suited, but i am yet to draw conclusions on other set ups.

boss? i have no boss any more, nice isn't it?

partial close, trailing stoploss, or similar profit talking management is something i would stay away from. i would rather have a profit goal and be satisfied if hit, no matter how many more pips further the trade have gone afterward.

That was a good trade RisingSun. Trading continuations are high probability. All you really need to do is follow PA. Moving averages can be helpful too, aka rainbows.

Have you or Ben tried lower time frames? I'm practicing on Oandas 5-second charts with some really good results.

By the way, if you're interested, I have a great reference site for scalping. Real top notch stuff there.

ben does trade 5/10 sec, me not yet. have just switched from h3/4-h1 s&r breakout, to m5-m1 with mma.

yeah, tell us the link.

japan wasn't as good before. don't know what happened to them...
