The trend in 2010 is 400-500 pip retracements before a further move south.

We are in the zone now. I'm looking for a retracement by the 2500 mark.

Not guessing. I'll wait for a solid bear day first.

Think we end the week about here and setup for critical action next week.
Only expectation matters . . .

And why would we end here? We have London and US sessions. And, it's Friday....more often than not a very volitile day. We'll see movement...just be patient.

EUR/USD back above 1.2400, orders looming
Plentiful sell orders it seems between 1.2430/50 but yet again we’re hearing of trailing stops tight above there. In fact these stops could be quite heavy so be careful on breaks above 1.2450, 1.2500 and 1.2525 I’m told.
Stop-loss sell orders below 1.2330 but mixed in with bids which are more plentiful towards 1.2250

I only do shorting on Euro. I was short from 1.23 and closed it when it retraced 1.235 after the 1.24, with 1.5% profit. Now I am short from 1.235.

The way I work is start from a very small position (1 mini) and keep adding every 30 pips or at every S/R lines, sometimes increasing the position at the high. If the trend is very bullish I will close on break even at a retracement. I will never let my exposure exceed 20%. It worked very good for me even in this bullish trend. I know 20% is not a very good number for all the money mgt I learnt. But I stop trusting the indicators and instead I loaded my account with more money.
Comments welcome to improve my strategy.

The ride will be very bumpy with lot of spikes with heavy short covering and heavy sellings due to limit orders at every major levels..................

time to go for low leverage fillings and stop loss and profit taking at every rise

About here means that by close of NY, we could be 2450 range, which is on par with growth levels.

Might even touch 2500 and pull back some. Just talking about where we finally end the week, not how we get there.

Point is, there are signs of flattening. But who knows, the weekend could reenergize the bullish sentiment.

If the UC still has room to drop as it's very bearish right now, then that means the EU has potential for upside.

Should be a fun London and NY ride.

Guten Morgen - good morning!

I just post this chart - in order to show that so called "DIAMOND" has been proven as beeing an error. It is not a "Diamond Formation" and I had the uncertain feeling this beeing a missleading "Rhomb" only. True "Diamond Formations" are so rare that I can only remember very few ones in a really long long time of observation.

True "Diamonds" are known as the safest reversal pattern that exist - and it would have been one - if prices would have been dropped out of its Triangle at the left side. Then we could have been seen a severe drop down - minimum same amount as last significant upleg.

I just mention this - for the friends of grafical analysis - because I do not remember that I have seen some kind of useful explanation about this phenomenon in INTERNET. If someone here knows some kind of website where there is written information available about it - please let me know.

I have finally learned to pay attention to the 4H & Daily TF's...I cant tell you how many times I sold lately.
Sh*t happens, regularly.

Here is the 4H chart I keep refusing to pay close attention to.
Now Im glued to it.

I looking to go LONG at 1.2400/10 as I think this is going to 1.25 by tomorrow's close.
The H1 and H4 are open to debate but overall looks bullish,
D1 MACD still has lots of upside potential on the chart IMO
Who's with me?
Or is it just plain stupid to go long at this level?

No , the diamond not worked & apparently aborted but not yet & breaks the tl up .still the sl at 1.2419 intact after so many hours & so waiting it hit sl or work the diamond again .
Buy set up perfection M15 occured + M5 sell set up perfection & likely to retrace soon , so a hope .hight tf in bull now .
so back to 1.2393,73,65 possible .

I'm not sure what you were asking but maybe you meant a signal failure. It's hard to call it a signal failure right now though because we haven't seen an explosive move.

Given the context of the situation though, you could say there is a strong bullish bias.
