My analysis: A very good setup right now on EURUSD to short, at 1.2345.

Reasons:

1 1.2345 is a resistance level: because the current price level coincides with previous high, before the price plummeted.

2 Price has increased dramatically, as someone noted, 11 white candles in a row on hourly charts. TP taking will occur, and people looking for new entry to go short and follow the main trend down.

3 Price is overbought, on several timeframes, on 15 min, hourly, and daily charts.


4 News were bad for the currency today, even still, price has been keeping up. This in conjunction with the big price increase, tells us that the price will come back down.

I agree, if the H1 again failed to close above pivot point 12345 then the bulls are in trouble. I'll wait for confirmation (candlestick pattern to complete near resistance level) to add some shorts.

It was a great day for me today, but on the end struggling a little on signs on lower TL's.
Going back to daily it's all clear again, I'll stay long, as long as daily (the bear-channel) does not indicate the other way.

if your bear biased. w/o a new high 2316 may be a little support. if its respected then target #1 is 2284. s/p may close above 1108.. atm 1110.. above 200d ma.. its what slp bulls are looking for.. 60 m 2 go..

I've got 2316 on this one too it's a smaller mid but the last 3 blues have acted kinda like stairs..it's looking good for the down move based on todays action imo

after my stops got hit from my previous trade @2278, i decided best to take a step back and let some stop running bulls do their thing. This retracement is very good for the downtrend, as it will attract renewed strong shorts to the current trend. I havent set orders yet, but when i feel were getting closer to larger shorts entering the market, ill do the deed. Right now, im not saying this will happen for sure, but we could see a stops being run just northwards of 2500. This level(2500) is a huge psychological level for big traders.....ie 1.00, 1.25, 1.50 ect. I have a very important level that ive draw here derived from monthly and wklys it comes in @ 2517. after we closed above that previous light blue TL, it then bounced off it, which makes me strongly believe price is headed to the next one. These blue TLs act as very strong magnets......

I think they place these buy orders when news are released, for biggest impact. Catching traders that sold on the bad news for the currency, as well as misleading traders that the price is going up,even if bad news are released-attracting traders looking for retracement.


As we know, bank intervention and such, is always done in the opposite direction of the main trend.

However:

If the move is bigger, more people ride it and thus, more people will tp(the bigger the price move, the bigger the retrace), which may also be what we are seeing, which according to techinical traders are refferred to fibbonachi numbers.

i say 16 cause of pa patterns. but if it gets there as described.. we got the normal supports and the the bull one i did at 2308. to get below.. pivots ect. this may be a 3 month summer range. with a slight tilt lower. till late summer early fall. it seems the little bull wedge on the 5m went north.
