Lot of work to set up something like that.
Part of what attracts me is how little work and liability
Find a decent broker, set up the ea
and fiddle with it here and there to maximize returns.

Hi everybody,

very nice thread and a very good EA, i think.

Could someone verify please, if IŽam using correct offset ?

Offset for my broker liteforex is 3 ? Means difference between broker time minus GMT = 3 ?

I ask this, because i got extremly extraordinary good results with 2 trade preset and not that bad results for 1 trade preset (v11). Note, i started this backtesting from beginning 2010 with very small money $ 200 margin !

Didn't someone post about a way to open zip files? I'm looking and can't find it. Help please....

Easier example:

ticket=OrderSend(Symbol(),OP_BUY,1,Ask,3,Ask-25*Point,Ask+25*Point,"My order #2",7777,0,Green);

Parameters:
symbol - Symbol for trading.
cmd - Operation type. It can be any of the Trade operation enumeration.
volume - Number of lots.
price - Preferred price of the trade.
slippage - Maximum price slippage for buy or sell orders.
stoploss - Stop loss level.
takeprofit - Take profit level.
comment - Order comment text. Last part of the comment may be changed by server.
magic - Order magic number. May be used as user defined identifier.
expiration - Order expiration time (for pending orders only).
arrow_color - Color of the opening arrow on the chart.

If parameter is missing or has CLR_NONE value opening arrow is not drawn on the chart.

are you sure about the gmt offset for ibfx? check with this indicator ... should be "0" instead of "2"...

otherwise, I wouldn't take LONG there. "Buy Low Sell High", - I feel more comfortable with that

Different results on backtest with different broker made me think about the failure.

And I think I have found the cause for a problem in my longterm backtests (over 1 year): Its the change in DST. For example, I canŽt do a backtest for one year on alpari with offset=2, because offset has to change to 1, if DST is off. So alpari offset=2 works only from 28.03.-31.10...

Right, you've been calling for Cable 1.38, not me ..

And it's hit 1.48+ today. I have bunch of those buds/shorts on EU thread,

which are permanent/static shorts, waiting for 0 ZERO

USD is dead horse, It could run back up a bit, but eventually will

cross ZERO finish line first ahead of every other runners..
