It seems everyone else ends there trading day at the close of the US session.
Unfortunately, our execution systems are EST based, and that has to match the MT4 servers. The ECN came before we added MT4 by several years.

Its actually a short-coming of Metatrader. I use MB + Neoticker and can choose whatever timezone and session-settings i like. I believe the new Ninjatrader beta also supports this.

There's some serious problems going on with MT4 live and NAV bar data as well.

I've been testing MbTrading API and calculated the 5Min bar data on my own using server datetime variables fetched to me.

1) NAV sometimes misscalculates closing bar, transfering the quote to nex candle ( screen shot attached )

2) MT4 Live is a free beast of its own, often with its own OHLC values.

Will there be any effort to at least ensure the NAV and MT4 data are equal?

Here's my two cents as you run around promoting your company on all of the threads. When I look at the pricing on your screenshot of 1.4502 for the EURUSD, the last time the EURUSD was at that price was in January. So were you guys sitting on that screenshot back in January, waiting to get your company off the ground, and then finally started floating that thing around two weeks ago. I see you everywhere pumping this (your) company with this screenshot. Couldn't come up with something more recent?

Just FYI, crossed quotes on an ECN mean...that the ECN isn't really matching all trades or routing customer orders to banks fast enough. It's actually a sign of a problem platform, not a good thing.

But the whole thing is really curious. FX Central is NFA registered effective 4/23/2010, but you're floating a screenshot comparing you to another broker that is from January 2010. I have a couple of suggestions:

1) Learn what a crossed market really means to traders.

2) Update your low-rent marketing to screenshots taken after you came into business, not three months earlier.

The more that I think about it, the only thing I can derive from what you are doing is that when you were opening your doors, you saw MB Trading as the broker you wanted to beat, which I can understand because they do rock, but get a new act and one that makes more sense. Can we get a moderator to delete all of this guy's spam?

I'm currently and MBT client and very happy by the way. I was wondering if you have any idea when MBT Web will be available? I currently run Mt4
under wine on linux, but miss some of the Navigator's functions.

MBT MT4 would seem to make sense as the issue, if the other 2 live quotes from other sources weren't matching the MBT MT4 price as I stated in my prior post.

The problem only seems to occur during times of higher volatility like NY session, during times of low volatility Navigator works great.

Anyway, not sure what else to do, but will let you know if it happens again.

Can you help me with this other problem? (I seem to be having all the luck with Navigator lately...lol)

In the Managed Account Trading window, the limit price displayed is always from the prior pair selected from the FX Board, not the current pair. So in this screen grab, you can see the selected pair is GBP/JPY but the limit price is for AUD/JPY which was the last pair I had selected on the FX Board.

I can't get the limit price to match the current pair.

Do you have any suggestions what I can do to correct this? (I restarted the computer and Navigator and that didn't help)

Hi all,

new to here, currently looking for a new broker and seems many people are talking about MBT. Have search the web but still cant find whether it offer mini a/c, may be I missed. Anyone can let me know?

Also the spread, whether it is the same as displayed on web page for all standard and mini a/c (if any).

Last, don't know how to count the comission, if I used to play 1k lot only, then what is the total for each complete trade (in & out).

Hi Buildcity-

MBT is an STP/ECN broker and they don't distinguish between mini and full account. When you buy 1 lot, you are buying a mini (10,000). If you want a full, you buy 10 lots. If you want a micro (your 1000), you do 0.1. All execution is the same. They just display an aggregation of bank quotes (STP) and customer orders (ECN) by best price and then route your order when it is executable to the fastest destination. Doesn't matter if you are buying 0.1 or 500 lots, the routing mechanism works. Commissions are $2.95 per $100,000 traded, and that also scales, so $0.295 per $10,000 traded, etc.

Download the demo, tried to place trades more than 10 times, same response "off quote"............

Anyone knows the tricks????

If you are calculating your own bars using your own datetime variables, then it makes sense that you will see a different closing value for any bar. To ensure that MBT Desktop bars and MT4 bars are the same would mean ensuring that they use the same datetime values, probably down to the millisecond... AND, both servers would have to be time-synched down to the millisecond, and EVEN THEN, there's no guarantee (although it would be real close). The quotes in real-time are the same as you can see just by watching both platforms next to each other. And I would also add that MT4 isn’t our software and isn’t exactly new, so however it compiles the data is not in our control. But either way, the quotes come from the same source and the execution goes to the same place.

You can access MBT Web 1.0 right now from our home page in the top right corner. http://mbtrading.com/

This is the first version of our web platform and it offers the same functions of the Desktop; but just scaled back. The next version will offer many more tools and advanced windows that you might expect from a trading platform.

Let me know what you think.

Thank you. I was able to replicate this and I too experienced the same issue. I've submitted a ticket to OPS; most be a problem with this current build. Not sure how quickly they will fix it, but I'll try and keep you posted.

For now did you need the MAT window? If not, I would just place your trades from the OE window in the FXBoard or L2.

Hi jleblang, any news on the Mobile WAP platform, I've been checking the link at MBT website but there hasn't been any updates for a while. This will be great as back up to any pc problems and generally to check trades on the move, I'm very keen to use. Will this service cost extra, and will it be available for us traders from outside the US?

I attempted to give it a whirl, but to no avail. I can log in, but the attached screen shot shows what I see. Basically no info, charts. etc.

I'll call in a day or two. It's nothing pressing.
