Magix, I've been following your discussion with 4xStar. I think what 4xStar mention was not the MACD indi, but the MACD Sample Expert Advisor on the Navigator panel. The parameters are:
TakeProfit, Lots, TrailingStop, MACDOpenLevel, MACDCloseLevel, and MATrendPeriod. Is this what you meant before?

This be the thing yer all looking at...

Gotcha...attached is the macd settings modified EA...Everything the same as the original, with exception of the MACD settings.

The rest are set like the posted pic...Yeah, TP 50 and SL200...

I'm not telling you to do this...It was to test what best MACD for the current indicators I am working with.

Try at own risk, would encourage running a demo, not live, 30m chart.

This MACD sampler EA was taken from FXSOL, 4 digit broker so may not work if you are working on a 5 digit.

IF you want to manually set yourself...MACD settings are 24, 55, 5 all the rest is the same. Manually edit in MetaEditor.

i did post kill indis with alert inside bykove trend its not bad at all

u can use it on all TF's till some body i now finsh working on his indi with alert

I think mine also the same with yours. It is the original which come with the MT4 right? My question is where do you put the 24, 55, 5 when you want to edit it manually with MetaEditor? It is here on the EA or on the MACD indi? Thanks...

You have to edit it in the MACD EA in meta Editor.

The EA doesnt care what you have on your charts, it only sees what you tell it to see.

So, when you open up the MACD Sample EA, find the standard settings, 12, 26, 9...and change them to 24, 55, 5.

Save the template, close your charts, open and you will be able to run back tests.

I have renamed this one as Sampler because I wanted to keep the original intact.
