FSA needs to go! Made my life hell when I was a broker!

CLEGG is likely to be DEPUTY PM! that's terrible! If anything happens to cameron, he will be PM and he came THIRD in the general election!

While I don't have a full grasp of how british politics work (I'm a yankee), I do understand a little bit. I do understand to some degree of how the fundamentals are moving pa. We can debate the argument of technical vs. fundamentals for hours, but it's pointless. If you have a basic grasp of fundamentals you know what to look out for. Technical/charts have fundamentals built in.

ok well how's this for advice:

1) get an idea of sentiment before you place a trade.

2) don't chase price just to get in a trade.

3) don't place trades willy-nilly hoping things will go your way.

4) don't take advice from strangers on a forum.

that's just for starters...

Don't take it to heart matey! Trading can be very frustrating, especially when you are starting out and learning. Psychology plays a big part! I suggest some free e-Books that are worth a read!

I just keep thinking about how many years, how much blood sweat, tears and treasure I lost learning this craft, and the last thing I would ever do would be to hang around forums and whine about how other people respond to my whining.

wow. Can't tell weather you're serious or just taking shots. 1-3 I have learned over time. Took a while to get a hold of 2. Number 3 I think we all do this as we first begin. We look to justify our trade-of-hope by making it fit on any chart setup and convince ourselves that it's a good trade.Number 4 we all do in one way or another. Sorry, even you. Everyone on here has taking advice from the forum, the question is how you use it. You can try it on demo, for example, and then decide if it's right for you. If someone goes on a forum and does everything someone tells them, then yes, they have bigger problems other than financial. But to not get advice/insight from someone else could, and probably will, cause even more problems.
I have no one, absolutely no one to talk to about forex (or any type of investing) other than people on the forums. Sorry to be long-wended, but it just bothers me when all I'm trying to do is learn and people take shots at me with no just cause. I don't mind if you take a little shot here and there, just give some form of constructive critic as well.Otherwise, you've done no good.
