Iiiii dont think so.... for number of reasons.... UK has much better repayments schedule compared to greece. Greek problem is that most of their maturities are short term where as UK has alot of debt repayments way in the future which buys them not only time but also room to breathe and get out of this mess... plus given how strong financial sector is in UK its hard to see it being downgraded... plus british are too lazy to riot unlike greeks so economy wont get disturbed

another big advantage that UK has is independant monetary regime. If the worse comes to worst they can just devalue the pound.

Im not saying everything is rosy here but its nooooo way nearly as bad as club med countries...

one thing I see that can damage UK rating is this stupid election

Hi Does anyone here use pair correlation? I have a 3pair correlation strat that works very nicely 1 in asian timezone 1 in london open. you really need it as a sencond stratagy as in doesnt fire super often but when it does it give some nice short term moves. If anybody is interested ill posty some screen shots and some verbage!!

Before FOMC....
We need another retrace back up to test digger's quarterly open [1.5180]
or even to the previous weekly low [1.5191] and cam level L3 [1.5196]
to generate the energy to push this further down to complete the
customary L3 - L4 daily move to [L4 @ 1.5129].

Mni suggesting 'stronger bids' may reside 5140/30 area within the previous near-term obvious daily t/f swing lo = prev support=potential support zone shown on pic below....Price now@ 98% of the 20 day average pip range...

5149 is of course the 50% of the 4779-5523 move...some support being found in cable now....

Orange ''line'' is where im looking to cover my longs and reverse into short again this is the area defined by ema14 and ema21 on 1h chart. My projection is that price will interact with this resistance around 1.52-10 area which is also round number and nice level to short by itself...

1h closed with a nice pin or doji or however you call it which supports pullback scenario
