Time will tell!

The smart move would have put a long order at the 50% fib line with a SL 20 to 30 pips below it. I am still learning and hopefully today is a good lesson as to where to place my orders before I go to bed.

I practically trade Tuesday... It is alot more calm and with a defined Direction. But Mondays is undulating, nerve racking and pretty disasterous to your accounts. So here we go!! The Trend is your Friend...

I trade the 1hour tf... And with respect to the Lower time frames. I used the Lower tf (15mins) to enter trade and 1 hour to monitor Trend. "Long Term Trader"

Dont know whether it's relevant or not, but on the 1H/4H charts I've a weekly pivot at 15432 (via AutoPivotIndicator) and we've not breached it properly since we went through it on Friday.
Back to basics, it has to be for me!

Well, based on the H1 the LTL has given way and the trend has reversed.

I am looking for shorts today, with a caveat; am waiting for another retest of 538

I've entered a scalp from 1.5363 down to 1.5300 where the 50 is of the fib 1.5140-1.5462.
From there it should be time to take a long trade according to the hourly trend.
I was told a while back that to get on a train you must first go to the station.

1.5306 is also the 50% fib of the 1.5815 high to the 1.4797 low.

Good morning/evening,

here's to some good positive returns.

my gut feel (based on previous observations) is mr cable will pull back slightly just before the trade balance release (nervous traders opting out). Then... who knows, if its good news 00 or 5440 and bad news 530 and 528 (depending on how bad). Regardless am looking to sell the rally today. Although medium term bullish on the cable, i sense risk appetite on wall street is going through a period of consolidation now with the next wave of company reports due out.
