Following the theory of cycles strong factors have weaknesses that need to assert themselves eventually. Forces which are momentarily weak posses potential strengths, thus when market is strong and news good which causes market to go up, has happened. Therefore it's unlikely that the market will go higher. And vise versa You should buy before the cause is known.

I draw the trendlines as equchannels now (learned something new thanks to coke and ak4x) and more precisely. Will still not draw with a pen as suggested by somebody here, as my flatscreen would probably not find that funny. It's still a break of the line. Price has definitely made a new week close above the tl from 151402 to 138186. Not much, but enuf to keep me away from shorting. Even if its not really visible in the d1 chart now.

If it should go with just facts, the eur should be at 0.88 to 0.67 or sumthing right now. Does it? That's the evidence, that markets are irrational. So, letz look what Monday brings and how the eur tulips are heading to next week.

Greece is just peanuts. Wait for the other piigs. Italy, oh my.

Edit: I do not try to trade based on my predictions. I just look how the market goes and then I react quick. Quick action is king. The quick sharks eat the slow herrings and the quick herrings might survive.

i dont think many are grasping the current situation. i live in the u.s. where banks are fdic insured. all it means is we deposit insurace backed by the goverment. if the bank is bankrupt my insurance is at least still backed up since we could still print if needed. the same is not true in greece. who backs the banks there? if its a bankrupt goverment, who cant print what fool is gonna leave deposits there.? granted even if greece could print like u.s. sure it would devalue money as it would in the u.s.
the banks their are still holding bad loans, from 2008 crises. banks make money by loaning. well the banks cost just went up on these already weak banks. and if theres a run on the bank the the banks cant operate. banks will be unable to make money. if so they close in hours or dont open. all electronic business stops. business's will be unable to cash checks. all commerce stops w/o cash/gold/barter. ect. ect. the "crowd gathering rock throwing bullshit capped with a gunshot" is very possible.

take away bank confidence and you have nothing. take away goverment confidence and you have less then nothing. take away worlds confidence in euro and ?... when police/ect. dont get paid they join the crowd.

i dont know if the greece banking system is like u.s. or not. if a run on banks does happen. the money to withdraw may be less then owed depositors. remember banks take deposits and loan them. i dont know what % is held in reserve. hey but at least their greece goverment backs the banks right?

tell germany send more funds. because the current amount greece owes will be peanuts compared to adding the banks into "owed money" . hey and ask them if they are willing to back the other piigs..and lets include france.. and if your not scared "god bless you". never throw good money after bad money. more important never have bad money to throw good money at.
what else can triciet ect. do? except say all is fine. greece cant afford the deals offered by ez/imf. the ez cant afford to bail out greece who blinks first?
if public cleans out banks it will be too late. once europe sees this, all europes banks are connected all europe may run on the banks..this will cross all oceans if it happens.. maybe not withdrawing of funds but economy wise we will all feel it. IF

this was done after market close friday for a reason. it was pumped too. im sure certain clients knew and pull their green shorts causing a buy pump. and ready to re-enter their shorts when market allows..

1.35 will tell the story, if price settles above it then there are a bunch of reasons why Eur is likely to head to 1.39-1.4. There is a death cross happening there on weekly, it also 50% of last Q1. Dow30 is getting very close to its 200 average on weekly, an easing of USD will help it get there whilst distribution is going on. But that 200 may also become a brick wall and stocks are expected to retrace in a big way. I am a trend follower, so I will not be calling the top for stocks, but topping conditions are there nevertheless. So if Eur settles above 1.35 which may be a very brief basing period I will close my short position, because I belive that to be the best option. But I won't be buying as that would be bucking the trend and I don't do that. We will have to see what the future holds, one thing I won't be doing is shorting into strengthening price action, I will have to wait for times when it starts to weaken again.
Prices oscillate, trends persist. Trend is your friend.

who is gonna loan money to someone who has not got the means to repay them? then the borrower wants to dictate the terms. the borrower wants the same terms the loaner borrows at..wtf?.. bad business..

Rogers suggested numerous times, as he does, that letting Greece default will let Euro run after perhaps a brief fall, that makes sense. He also believes that it will not be allowed to default, but instead will be offered loans to keep it adrift longer, so that will continue weakening the Euro after a brief rise, makes sense too. But we all know shat happened recently in the states loaning good money to badly run companies, that will only work for a while, what's next? A default most likely.

i bet he said that before the bank downgrade? and before the greece downgrade. where not in kansas.. anymore. the great oz has no power here.

germany dont give a phuc. their exports do better with a weaker euro..ask the swiss. their bag of euros is getting heavy.. hell the swiss may bail.. to get some off their money back.. they could swap euros for usd or gold ect.

Unfortunately that is not how politicians think (if they think). They think like this: "How can I bailout my brothers and sisters in big government banks with taxpayers money and let run the big cheating to get more money and pensions?"

Corruption is common all over the worlds. The problem with ez is: The ppl here are like sheeps. They even call for their slaughter event. They are brainwashed. You can see this more and more going on also with the very young generation in the us. It's not that far right now like in the ez, though.

That all will not hold the eur from going down, but it will slow the move. I guess.

About bank runs and all that: I also guess this will happen. But not now widely in ez. Thats just too early. In 5,10 or 20 years we will have civil war in ez. Thats for sure. But not now. I guess.

i agree.. im questioning the manipulation. fitch wanted to make this call long ago. they even suggested it a month back. im sure many goverments pressured them not too, including the u.s. so its "shit or get off the pot time". none of the goverments want a fast decline of a major currency. it could destablise the world economy. but the manipulation built those charts..

Then the borrower deposits this in another bank and they lend these zero's to someone else. This process repeats about ten times. Bundes Bank Germany stated this in a report a couple a weeks back while I was in Germany. The new money devaluates the existing currency. Hence infinite inflation to pay back interest that never existed. Foreclosures are built into the system Elite buy up everything and start over again. Increase money supply decrease money supply (call in loans).

That's how it works. Very simple. Going bankrupt is part of the system. It's a big pyramid game. Working until the next reset and then it starts all over again. Thinking in decades, centuries, though. Because it's the largest pyramid game in the world.

Inflation here we come. Look at the aux price and you know what is going on. This will hit eur, usd and several other rotten paper bills mid to long term. Paper money is not money. It is credit bills leading to (hello?) big debt bubbles. That's why I prefer to lock in my profits from time to time in real goods like pm's and others. They can't be printed by politicians .

edit: Have you ever thought what will happen if your broker closes because of big bank bankrupts? Those numbers in the accounts are just numbers. They don't even need to print a bill for it (cash).

Best of all if you lock your money in gold and if gold rises, it's TAX FREE! No tax ever can let you have a nightmare, because pm's in physics can not be registrated by governments. They can try, but they can't control it. Yeah governments, I know how can save my hard work fruits without letting them get stolen by you!
