How bout looking at daily and see top and bottom of range and start buying/selling there? this will allow you alot more profit no? All markets range it just depends on the tf!

If, like today we have a huge upward gap, what does that potentially tell us about the day ahead? I assume it is telling us that there is buying pressure or that the big boys are wanting a better short position?

careful about trying to trade the gaps. your gap maybe just your broker. its best to see if there is a gap from a true ecn broker.

from my experience two things happen from gaps:

1) whatever scared people into shifting their orders way above or below on monday mrng is discounted or shown to be already priced in, then the market will just fill in the gap area.

2) gap through -- what ever caused a drastic shift in orders and market perspective is held true by price action and price will continue to run towards the direction of the gap through.

Didn't like the PA of the last few minutes. Closed my short positions for profit as it swept past DP. Looking to re-enter short at a better price.

PP, mate lock it in and continue riding her. Once your in a locked down position you'll have even more confidence to trade your plan. Your confidence and trading physcology will increase three fold and so will your profits.
