hi any one here trading through a true ecn, or pref insti platform?

if you don't mind me asking what was ur close bid/offer for us sesh fri night, and open for sydney pre hours for GBPUSD?

sigh, i'm getting tired of trading with bucket shops.

I am still of the 'naked' variety. US is out of recession according to their numbers. Euroland and UK are barely out and going back in. There are lies, damned lies and then there are statistics. Let's see how this one plays out, but I can't see direction take shape until tomorrow.

EDIT: If it stays below DP through US markets, I say we are going down.

Hi all...

Slept a lil later this morning as I'm am totally buggered from last week.

PA seems like expected, sticking to range until NY. Hoping they'll kick some ass and push it through my two watch points (previous post 1.5180 and 1.53000). Hey bbakker, hows life treating you mate? had a good weekend I hope?

Lost on the horses, lost both golf matches and lost my mind Had fun doing it though! Hopefully I can do the opposite in my trading this week and at least I have started in the right direction

Sorry i don't boast. Fx is based on what you know and back testing. Pattern's change that is why there is no 100% trader (player). What matter's is making more green pip's than red pip's. So if I make 10wrong call's after making 50right call's, why does the wrong call have to be an issue. WHAT HAPPENED TO STOP LOSS (S.L)?

I understand you quite well i would try using chart's to explain my post next time.

It don't really matter much to me at all, I was just trying to assist you with what Ctic was trying to say.

We have a different method of trading me thinks, and you only say there is no 100% traders because you believe if you cannot do this nobody can. Well my friend, your ability might just be lacking because of your judgment, this is again, not my issue.

You were as memory serves, boasting about writing a couple of books. When somebody comes in screaming from the rooftops, about the first thing I do is ignore them, it typically is only a matter of time before they fall off the pages.

General assumptions by blowhards. See them all the time. I have a tuff time even working them into a tizzy these days.

i am helping. i don't think its healthy for any one, newbie or not to ask for market direction.

instead why not ask for "how to tell if it is a good time to trade or not?" or "how do i tell what and where are the probabilities of price movement?"

seriously -- asking where its going...is like a blind guy driving in a car asking "if he should turn the wheel yet, and how much?"

plus, with the variety of people we get on these forums, how is that newbie going to tell what is good analysis to learn from or not, if he or she hasn't even put in the time to tell what basic price analysis is themselves.

Hey goldi,

I'm relatively new also but I'll tell you what I think. We between to critical points, namely 5180 and 5300. No one is sure where we are going as we have been going a while and we could turn here or go up to 5380 and turn there. But if that is broken we could go even higher to 55xx.

Look at your 4h chart and look where price normally lingers or turns, these are s/r. We will propably range between these two points until NY open as that will bring a couple of big boys to the market...

pm me if you need more help, am always happy to help and have been sponging off the experienced traders for a while

and If I cant help you, will refer you to my boss, cloggie

Did you saw GAP at MARKET Opened today (with Price 1.5280) ?? :nerd:

GU in FRIDAY (Last Week) Market was CLOSED in Price 1.5210.

If Today, Can NOT DOWN Closed (or More) in Price 1.5210 before USA Market's Open today !!
This mean PRICE 1.5225 = LAST Price GU Down.
Because GU will FLY...
