The market was bad yesterday, but I slept like a baby last night. I woke up every hour and cried.

Goldman sachs have lowered their NFP headline number forecast from +275k to +200k. FF.com going with +185k up from their original +179k, and that later forecast very much in line with consensus.

Thin conditions abound due to Uk/European Bank Hol so any knee-jerk and follow thru moves could be exaggerated.

How possible is a rebound to a +180k+ plus jobs figure from previous negative prints. Forecasting is a mugs game and guessing is worse (there is a difference-lol!) but I wonder if I am the only one to question such high forecasts, even though the 'trend' as represented by the histogram is definately up although not above the line yet...Could we even see a ZLR ? (zero line rejection.)

The most likely scenario it seems is for jobs growth but whether the number will be enough to impress the markets is another question...We'll know at 1230pm gmt, and thereafter.
